What dove was trying to say is that a lot of people tolerate transgender people like they tolerate their abusive boss.
They don't like them and they view them as crazy, but they are afraid to say that.
Especially in westeren countries where even people who do not dislike transgender people are afraid to mention that being transgender is a mental illness.
If you want a career it's best you never say anything that could be considered "transphobic" as the LGBT lobby will destroy you.
And so people shut their mouths and pretend that they do not judge and view transgender people as freaks.
