And yet they still don't post a single source. Just a graph and some anecdotes. Great job, guys.

anything ending with .tumblr.com is not a source
How many more people would ignore an ugly person in real life if they were not afraid of being called out on their actions and appear shallow.
How many times people play it nice and pretend like they listen to you when they would rather just mute you and block you out of their lives?
It's quite depressing actually.
Online behaviour doesn't represent unrestricted irl behaviour because there are many stimuli that are absent from online interaction. For example you may see a photo of a person online but you will not see their body language. Several people are far more attractive irl.Actually it's not that different than the so called out of the basement reality. It's not like the people's tastes and expectations change when they go online, they are just more honest about it online.
Internet is really just a simulator that shows how people would behave if there were no consequences for their actions.
The bigger the anonymity the more realistic it becomes.
A girl in real life will often hold back on "not hurting your feelings" but in reality people are just afraid of being 100% honest with a stranger.
Internet is a place where it's easier to lie to others but it's also a place where you can be completely honest.

I have a better time understanding J-Pop than this shit.
And I can't speak a lick of Japanese.
If they really want to date hot girls they just need ballet class. Tinder is a sausagefest, is it really any surprise that girls looking for a hookup are going to tend to fuck the same guys? I mean all they have to do is only swipe on the best looking guys waiting in line for a latte and bam they've found someone adequate for that purpose in at least that small pool. Like 10 matches and you'll probably find at least one guy who wants to fuck.Because behavior on an online dating site is completely reflective of flesh-and-blood out-of-the-basement reality.
