Smaller Communities that are awful but don't deserve a thread

The Ace Attorney fandom, like most series with an anime art style, can be obnoxious and toxic.

Most of the obnoxiousness comes from the rampant shipping wars, especially yaoi fangirls who obsessively ship Phoenix/Edgeworth, despite romance having next to no importance for most of the main characters. I've seen retarded pictures of characters being beaten up and shot because the artist didn't like a character because of shipping reasons.

Then there's the roleplaying. Since most AA fans have little imagination as to how a case could potentially play out in a series about court cases, it's almost all shipping based.

The other sperging mostly happened more than ten-years-ago, where you couldn't discuss anything on any video game related forum that didn't involve someone typing "OBJECTION! HOLD IT! TAKE THAT!" and in the worst level occurrences, things like *Desk Slam*, *Cornered Theme Plays*, etc.[/SPOILER]

The Wrestlecrap fandom.

Spawned two forums. One is ran by a trannie who fucked off after being trolled on some euro image forum,but not before lardass made a admitted pedo a mod. The other was ran by a piece of shit who offered mod positions to anyone that sent him nudes. He fucked off after the #speakingout movement last summer.

Both are full of the weakest people you can think of. At one you can't say a bad word about certain wrestlers or you get banned for "trolling". The other they refused to ban long time trolls and now the place has maybe 10 active posters.

Sorry if this has been said before but online fans of cartoons. Watching cartoons should’ve never been accepted by society. Because it bought out the grown ass autists who never grew up more than ever.

I feel bad for kids because they probably wanna chat about a cartoon they like and instead they get a term paper length of salt and bitching about why a cartoon character isn’t sucking face with their same sex.

Name a cartoon with story driven plots like Adventure Time, Steven Universe, The Owl House, Amphibia, the list goes on.

Cartoons like Kim Possible would've gotten so much shit for apparent ””queer baiting“” Kim and Shego since they have a rivalry. The team probably would’ve gotten razor blade cookies ALA Voltron fandom.

People overthink too much about cartoons and make par-asocial relations with fictional characters. A cartoon character of a teenager being a faggot shouldnt make you THAT excited.

As for shipping cartoon characters, I feel bad for parents who just want to look up fun things for a show their child is interested in, only to find pages upon pages of things like bronies wanting to fuck cartoon horses or people sperging about the (child) siblings on the Loud House fucking each other.

FWIW, that kind of arrogant/smug attitude was pretty much rampid throughout the entire Bemani community. Back in the day we called it "Elitism". IDK which specific site you're talking about, but with the exception of "invite-only", almost every forum had similar issues like that... and yes, there were a FUCK-TON of sites dedicated to Bemani shit.

DDRFreak, FlashFlashRevolution, the original StepMania forums, Bemanistyle, DDRPlace, DoujinStyle (i forget if they were called something else but they did focus on Stepmania Doujin./Touhou SM Files/Packs before nuking everything DDR/SM related), StepManiaOnline forums, ITGFreak, R21Freak, SMGroove... and that's just off the top of my head.

Majority of the elitism stemmed from StepMania File Step Charts. A LOT of people had different varying opinions on what made "high quality" charts. Almost everyone tried to mimic the same style of the original DDR charts as closely as they possibly could. Or you had the keyboard community that would focus on just spraying diarrhea all over the chart and make nonsensical steps that were made specifically for you to use the keyboard to play (hence the name). Once In The Groove came into the picture that's when all hell broke loose, and the arrogance/smugness got 10x worse, because then you had a clear divide on what people considered good and bad.

It wasn't just the steps either, you had well known music artists (like DM Ashura and Family Farce) that were floating around the community doing their own thing. A lot of people would flock to them to use their music for their steps, especially when StepMania held their own annual SM File contests (one of the rules is that you could ONLY use music under the Creative Commons license). Some of the music artists were chill, and you could talk to them like they were anyone else on the site. Others had long-ass sticks up their ass and had a "holier than thou" attitude towards the "plebs".

Now they're all either dead (in the literal "website doesn't exist anymore" sense) or their activity is dead/hanging on by a thread. I haven't been a part of that community in a LOOOOOOOONG time, in fact, by the time I left, the SJW mindset was starting to seep in. Brexit had just happened, which pissed off a lot of people, and mods were getting more aggressive with the bans/thread-locks, including word policing (i got yelled at for saying "Autistic" in chat). Also MLP and a lot of anime shit was revolved around the community

Stepmania, the emulator to play the step files themselves, is still up and available for download, however an update hasn't happened for it since December 2019. I'm not 100% clear on why, but by the time 5.2 came out (or didn't come out but was being worked on) a group of people made a fork of Stepmania 5.1 called Project Outfox, which focuses on 5.1 and avoids anything 5.2 related.

Zenius-I-Vanisher is another site that's still active and constantly posts news and arcade locations for any and all Bemani related games. Their forums are on the "hanging on by a thread" side, as the only major activity it get's is from the constant Sm File contests it has on a monthly basis.

I used to watch people like the roundtable channel Fred and that guy with the v and looking back I can see why people don’t talk about new cartoons alot
 
I know people have tried to create threads for the ICP fandom (Juggalos) and they never quite took off, but they're definitely worth taking gander at.

The band itself is the most uncool thing in the universe, but its fans outwardly pride themselves in being ugly outcasts. They seemingly all suffer from a weird "fuck society" victim complex and it's fueled by the music.

They also produced "Super Humman" which is a YouTuber who hurts himself in retarded ways for Juggalos and Juggalettes, somehow? It's kind of funny.

The DDLC fandom, especially its modding scene.

Chock full of weirdos, pedos, and insane NEETS, but I'm not sure it's different enough from other fandoms full of MATI weebs to justify its own thread.
