* Explaining the photoeffect through absorption of light quanta by electrons.

* Discovering that space and time are joined into a single geometric entity and influence each other - time goes slower as you move through space, space gets compressed as you move through it.

* Discovering that inertia and gravity are basically the same force, explaining gravity as spacetime curvature.

...wait, this may have been someone else... I'm confused here :?

At the trial, when the judge asked him if he pleaded guilty, he bit his tongue, he paused for five long seconds, he made the herculean effort to tamp down his fury at that goddamned child-raping Michael Snyder, and he said yes.

And this was after a couple weeks of rehearsal with Rob Bell.

Yeah, getting off the internet seems to have been smart for Chris (the remaining moles he has apparently failed to weed out notwithstanding). The chronic level of suspicion he now harbours may be a down-side to that, but I don't know if it will really impact him in any material way.

People, Chris will never leave the damn internet. He will always have some sort of presence. He still thinks he has fans and socializing in real life is obsolete. You know he's got an ad up somewhere on a dating site that nobody's discovered yet. Leaving the internet means leaving facebook, then who will he cry to?

Chris' internet presence is down to what, his FB and Twitter account, at this point? He has made a reasonable effort to extricate himself from something that was a source of pain to him (and continues to be a source of pain to him -- this is kind of the weird confounding factor) despite the fact that this obviously ran contrary to his innate autisto-pilot. Currently he has far, far less of an internet presence than most people who aren't scrutinised in the way Chris is -- sure, as I said, he has failed to kick a few remaining moles/trolls/trollmoles to the curb on FB at least. But given the problems Chris is up against and the succour he obviously finds in FB in particular, I don't think he can be criticised too harshly for that. (There's also the issue of whether the comfort he finds in FB is really beneficial to him long-term, but I think that's outside the scope of this discussion.)

As for the 'dating profile we don't know about' -- if we're going to straight up, without any foundation, assume things that run contrary to all of Chris' recent public statements just to make him look a little bit worse then this whole thing is kind of a pointless exercise, no?

He really doesn't have a dating profile online anywhere. Like, in the past, we've caught him with dating profiles that weren't even publicized, ones where he was hiding that he was Chris. He thinks (rightly so) that for him it's impossible to pursue women online without getting trolled.

Hell, hiding that he was Chris when trying to find girls on a dating site was one of the smarter things he's done. But someone still found him and fucked with him.

I'm surprised he got fucked with through eharmony. Their whole bit is that they're like "Find the perfect match through a 3423 question survey."

Well, I don't remember specifics, but I don't think you have to answer all of their questions. Chris might not have had the energy to fill them all out, and when he did answer some questions, his answers were probably extremely predictable.

How much of himself can he really hide though? Apart from the obvious superficial stuff like not using a picture or mentioning Sonichu on his profile it's got be to pretty obvious it's Chris when he starts talking about himself, either on his profile or in the first few messages with a girl.

What can Chris really say when he's asked some pretty common introductory questions like what do you do for a living/what are your hobbies etc? Chris really doesn't do much but he doesn't like to admit that so on his resumé he put his job as drawing Sonichu. He used to use Sonichu as a point of pride and thought it'd be something he could use to attract potential sweethearts but I get the feeling he stopped that in recent years, so what else is there for him to say? He plays video games and Lego a lot? That doesn't make him unique but admitting he's a 30 something year old from Ruckersville who plays Lego and video games pretty much gives the game away.

Well he does embellish things on his profile (for example- Knows Spanish) so there's that.

I don't think he thought that far ahead. He did do a good job at being vague as hell, if I'm remembering correctly. But of course, that runs contrary to finding a girlfriend.

His "wheeling and dealing" (Return Fraud) scheme wasn't bad. I knew someone who pretty much did that for a living. She's probably out of jail by now.

Brother, Chris's smartest thing was this comeback to Jack Thaddeus:

Jack: Yeah, that's why they shelter you like you're a baby. You know what? My parents threw me out when I turned eighteen. You know why they threw me out?
Chris: Hmm... probably because they couldn't stand you?
Wow,that's actually a pretty badass comeback! If he could just think of comebacks like this all the time, maybe he wouldn't be trolled so much

When he said, "At least our faces aren't fuckin' orange". That was actually pretty funny.

He didn't even babble like an autistic retard when he said it or anything, taken alone it was a pretty good shot at Clyde. Trouble is prior to me watching him say that I'd watched the video where he admitted to shitting his pants so the effect was somewhat diminished.

Dropping off of the face of the internet. It only took him 5 years to figure it out.

He hasn't quite got that part down, but limiting his online presence has at least gotten most trolls to get bored of him and moving on to the crazy bitch who writes Starfighter.

I'd say Chris's smartest move is not tard-raging in court when Rob Bell described him as an "adult autistic child."

If only if we can see his reaction

I don't really know what the smartest thing Chris has done aside what every-one has mentioned. I do however remember hearing about how a lol-cow known as the Unknown Autobot sending Chris a letter while Chris was calling trolls like Jack Thaddeus and Bluespike. Chris saw the letter as some kind of attempt to troll him, which leads to Chris sending to Thorg who leaked it to the /cwc/, leading the Unknown Autobot into being like A-Log, a troll-shielding lol-cow. This is something that I see as a smart move done by Chris.
