I don't really know what the smartest thing Chris has done aside what every-one has mentioned. I do however remember hearing about how a lol-cow known as the Unknown Autobot sending Chris a letter while Chris was calling trolls like Jack Thaddeus and Bluespike. Chris saw the letter as some kind of attempt to troll him, which leads to Chris sending to Thorg who leaked it to the /cwc/, leading the Unknown Autobot into being like A-Log, a troll-shielding lol-cow. This is something that I see as a smart move done by Chris.

When you get trolled by the world's best lolcow, you know you suck.

Especially when you're a lol-cow who tries to trollshield him/herself.

I don't think he's ever done anything particularly smart. The only instances I can conjure are the equivalent of a toddler realising that if he keeps touching that stove, he's going to keep burning himself. And in Chris's case he realises this only once he's lost a good portion of skin.

Brother, Chris's smartest thing was this comeback to Jack Thaddeus:

Jack: Yeah, that's why they shelter you like you're a baby. You know what? My parents threw me out when I turned eighteen. You know why they threw me out?
Chris: Hmm... probably because they couldn't stand you?

Yeah, this is pretty much the only time Chris displayed wit.

Oh, he has. Trolls have tried to contact Chris as Cole to try to get content out of him. Chris sent a message to "Cole" talking about one time when he visited "Cole" in Louisiana or some shit. He basically told "Cole" this big story, except all the details were wrong. When "Cole" failed to correct Chris on any of the details, Chris knew it wasn't him and stopped talking to him.

When he said, "At least our faces aren't fuckin' orange". That was actually pretty funny.
He didn't even babble like an autistic exceptional individual when he said it or anything, taken alone it was a pretty good shot at Clyde. Trouble is prior to me watching him say that I'd watched the video where he admitted to shitting his pants so the effect was somewhat diminished.

Actually, that line was specifically requested by Jackie. Chris didnt came up with it, he only parroted it.

Well, Chris isn't retarded. Naive most certainly, but not entirely stupid. He's learned to never trust anyone because of all of the trolling that has gone on.

Huh, did not know this. Pretty damn impressive for Chris, true. Suppose he had to learn sometime though, but even then that's a more sophisticated method than I'd initially expect from him, even though it's not genius either, certainly it's pretty smart for Chris.

I'd say Chris's smartest move is not tard-raging in court when Rob Bell described him as an "adult autistic child."

If only if we can see his reaction

Something along the lines of this. It was just a scowl. Nothing too particularly lulzy.

I think CHris is smart enough to feel pain.

The smartest thing Chris has done was to beat 999,999,999 other sperm to the egg to be born. It's been all downhill since then. Imagine being the sperm that lost to him. :pickle:

He's certainly smart enough to register pain five seconds after it's inflicted.

Tough one. Dropping off of the internet was a good move but I think he liked being trolled..Sort of. He felt as if he had attention and he had an enemy to hate. Sure, he still hates the fictional faction of trolls who hire skywriters and stalk him but then he could at least interact with them.

I guess it's realizing that there are a lot of trolls out there. At the same time, though, it isn't smart, because now he's paranoid to the point of doubting everyone except Barb. Everyone has become his enemy because he took it too far.

That sounds like a protip from the lumberjack to me, man.

Not at that point in troll history, I don't think.

He used that same formula much more clumsily in some chat log where PandaHalo says that her father has terminal cancer of the... whatever it was. She leaves chat, comes back, and Chris says something like, "I hope your aunt recovers from her cancer of the $other_thing." Obviously, and in character, PH yells at Chris that he has two major details wrong. He says that that was his method of testing her story. Because trolls never concoct detailed backgrounds and stick to them like any good fanfic writer... right, Ghost of Ivy? ;)
