The channel should be fine if the guys running it aren't retarded enough to not know how to install third party mods/torrents. Besides, they have a whole in-house animation studio to make custom models if they really need anything. Maybe the only thing to worry about is that DMCA spaz targeting them.

Because I think technically speaking they're two different entities. I think? It's not entirely clear though I wouldn't be surprised if they intentionally keep it vague to avoid issues that may arise. So if one goes down they can just focus on the other. As unlikely as the scenario is. My opinion personally is that since SMG4 uses Nintendo characters they can probably vanish at any time if Nintendo feels like it. Anyway, I'm getting a bit carried away.

They ARE two different channels as well. This thread I believe is mostly used to discuss the SMG4 series itself whereas TADC is more likely to be discussed in the thread for their company, that being Glitch Productions.

Her (?) credits on SMG4 videos seem to be making models for character plushes/"chonks" to be used in the videos. She (?) doesn't seem to be that necessary, so I wouldn't be surprised if the SMG4 team stopped using these or made their own version.

Sorry for the necro (again) but this is something I found investigating another community (SplatSource):
So last week SMG4 uploaded a video where Bob and SMG3 help Mario and Meggy take care of some kids in a daycare.

In the video, there are recolors of Hat Kid and Bow Kid from A Hat in Time, which happen to be colored similarly to Mario x Meggy fankids Megan (by TinaClementine) and Maggie Jr. (by CZAR6454), so of course people went wild with theories:

Probably a coincidence, right? Apparently not; @MediExcalibur2012 (editor and writer on SMG4 videos) confirmed that it was an intentional reference to those specific fankids.

From what I've seen, anytime Mario x Meggy gets brought up, it brings up retarded shipping drama because of the age difference between Mario and Meggy when they first met (she was supposedly 15 in her first appearance (L/A, under "Meggy Livestreams")). The best example of this retardation is a fight on X/Twitter where someone asked for the SMG4 team to "do something" about @MediExcalibur2012, with a bonus complaint about "whitewashing" the Bow Kid recolor:

Don't know if this was brought before, but a big pet peeve of mine with the modern episodes is how basically every swear other than crap and damn is censored, but since Luke still uses subtitles (Even though almost everyone is fully voice acted at this point...), you know exactly what the actual word is. Ugh, and this was especially ridiculous with the recent "movie" he released on Saturday.

On a side note, any episode that stars Mr Puzzles is easily the most godawful thing Luke's put out in recent memory.

Apologies for necromancing but I'm surprised at the "fanbase" this guy has. I guess Mr. Puzzles appeals to the people who like the "Tumblr Sexyman" type of character, but these days people turn the obsession up to 11. If you want to play the dating sim yourself, it's available on itch.io (archive) and Game Jolt (archive). The premise is kind of interesting (hired to kill off Mr. Puzzles because he's stealing half of the viewership from the guy who hired you) and I managed to "kill" Mr. Puzzles (by admitting my "love" for him), which I thought was pretty funny. After clicking back and choosing a different option (with me sparing Mr. Puzzles at first), the game crashed after some dialogue by some OCs, which was also entertaining. It's pretty meh but more entertaining (in how bad it was and likely not in the way "MilkyCoffie" intended) then I expected.

Same here. I still watch one of their videos every few months when it’s something simple like Mario reacting to meme compilations, but the direction SMG4 has taken over the last several years hasn’t been for me. But I can’t blame them for going in that direction, they had a vision for what they wanted to do and they did it. And if you prefer the original style, there’s still years worth of weekly uploads to go back to.

I’ll watch the next couple months as a final sendoff, for old time’s sake.

I haven't watched a lot of SMG4 in the last few years. But my god, the very fact that it will all be over in the the next couple months and there's no more to come is some of the saddest news I've heard this year.

I haven't watched since just after the anime arc, but it still feels so weird knowing that smg4 is going to end. I'm going to go and re watch some of my favorite episodes starting with the one that hooked me. I still remember my original reaction seeing the flipping off bit for the first time.

For those that watched post anime arc, what are some really good episodes in the "modern" time frame ( as if we can call episodes from half a decade ago modern but you know what I mean)
Also I haven't been around in quite a while but did they ever bring up what happened to Enzo? I just remember him just never being talked about again.
