I'm glad this didn't air in October, it would've been way too scary. Also I love how Pyramid Head wasn't animated for the show, they look like they basically just got the model and slapped it into the scene.

That effect was cool, so was melted Velveta charlie
 
Hooo, this episode kinda went hard. The animation was great, even the skeletons! It reminded me of a Spamtopia episode where it is just the animators goin' off like the fever dreams at Disney and Beavis and Butthead.
 
I felt bad for the sexy hot witch but maybe she should stop trying to extort people and get a job

The spookiest part of the episode was the STUPID MOM reprimanding Da Boss for pawning all her rare jew-els to get his sweet ass gaming rig. God I hate when stupid parents don't understand the needs of a gamer.

There's an upcoming episode this season where Charlie is gaming on his laptop. I doubt that this is the direction they'll be going with that but I would love an episode where the smooling fronds have an online gaming sesh and have to help a Genesis Valentine type of character. Kind of like that episode of South Park where everyone gets addicted to WOW.

I wonder if Adult Swim posting some fanart that specifically featured TCAG and Dolly was supposed to be a soft confirmation that they're in on it (as if the Rotten the Snowman edit being uploaded in under an hour after it broadcast wasn't enough).
 
You know, I forget where I heard it but someone asked where Smiling Friends get their funding. My favorite head cannon for how Smiling Friends is funded currently is thanks in part to Mr. Frog. They were struggling financially and once Mr. Frog became President Smiling Friends became one of the many charities that just get perpetually funded by the God Lord of Earth. Probably solidified with the finding of inner peace too...well and Mr. Boss is some sort of lunatic creature; prolly a demon.
 
Gonna say that this probably not just the best Halloween episode but maybe the best ep of the series so far. A great example of horror with a little comedy sprinkled in that doesnt bring down the show. Very cathartic at the end and the hit and run gag at the end made me laugh even though the trailer spoiled it for me.
