Back in 2001 when smiling friends was set up in new york he did the squim dance so masterfully that a couple airplane pilots got so entranced that they accidentally hit a couple of buildings.
I feel like it's suggested that Mr. Boss set up Smiling Friends after 9/11

Whomever animated Squim should be proud. The amount of everything involved in the character's animation is amazing. Squim is just an exaggeration of toxic positivity; there's nothing more there. But the overall thematic theme of the episode is rejecting reality/responsibility is bad. All of the character arcs had that theme.
I don't know how much I'd believe episodes themes for a 10 minute per run. Just seems to be what the writers thought was funny.

They had Osama as a client.

The loudest dogwhistle for Charlie's chuddiness is the fact that he plays grand strategy games.

It seems people fotgot about that. I guess he is bi, but it really doesn't matter.
It's a silly little show where the most coherent theme is it's incoherency. It could be they sprinkle these bits of Allen acting gayishly here and there to get the annoying section of the audience going 'WOOOW!! ALLEN IS TOTALLY GAY YAS QUEEN OMG' only to then rug pull by doing something to reveal he's totally heterosexual.

Erm... a man in a dress being sexually creepy, transphobic much?

I would think that most people would assume the post credits gag is about the general harassment cosplayers can recieve by creeps who refuse to respect boundaries, especially after what just happened recently at Twitchcon, but I guess freaks like this can't help but self report. If you were offended by that joke, I'l bet dollars to donuts that you've been scolded at least once for being too touchy feely at a social gathering.

It's like a game of listing every chud trope they put in those two minutes.
It's funny how literally everyone on the comments "hasn't watched the episode, but".
These faggots want to be pandered to, but they aren't even part of the audience.
They absolutely watched it and just don't want to be labeled as "supporting transphobia".

Knowing Zach Hadel he is 100% going to wanna rug-pull the gay Alan activities specifically to fuck with those kinds of people. Just take a look at Oneyplay’s websplorer series, Zach is frequently with them and they all 100% understand weird ass subsections of the internet and they’re going to definitely try to piss them off more in the future in subliminal ways for lols. I’d say this applies to Micheal Cusack too.

That’s the beauty of these two guys making this show, the overall premise is positive with silly shenanigans but they know how to push random buttons to make select autists seethe, it’s genius.

I could see them having Allan bring over his long-time gf into the office only for her to not even have a single line, like Charlie's and Glep's gfs. By the way, that's my personal pet peeve about the show. Both of them have less than a single minute of screen time so far, and they look so out of place standing next to the main cast. Only funny thing about their inclusion is that Glep's wife is canonically named Marge Simpson.

Old man (a self-described "transgirl") sees young women thirsting for a SF character and can't fathom why no one is into him.
