this is like when andy kaufman died and people thought for decades he was faking his death and was going to come back like a punchline to a joke

Hans has no reason to play coy but Zach and Cusack did leave the door open in their actual statements so I can't blame people for holding out hope. It's just further evidence that the sudden cancelation wasn't as sunshine and rainbows as both parties are pretending it was.

Thought so. No way they were going to go out unscathed after cancelling two previously announced seasons. It's honestly more of a win that they managed to outright cancel the show rather than Adult Swim trying to continue without them. Well, at least for now. I assume they get to keep the rights for the whole show and someday they'll attempt to do something with it, despite the obvious and huge amount of backlash they'll get. What a bunch of freaking niggers.

Finally got around to watching the final 2 episodes and I was not disappointed. I was already laughing when the dog was running for Alans new girlfriend and seeing the Landlord just sent my sides into orbit.
Now to think and decide which episode is the best out of all seasons.

I don't know about that. Adult Swim more than likely retains most if not all rights. However, they do probably have a clause in their contract like the Ed, Edd n Eddy creator where Adult Swim can't do anything else with Smiling Friends without their involvement.

Obviously the best 3 episodes are the Alan Trilogy of the First Episode, the Alan Adventure and the Final episode, we have not had a trilogy this good since Lord of The Rings.

A good 4th place is the Space Episode...just for the ending.

i liked the last two episodes.
it's always nice when dimaggio leans into his bender voice more to me.
Does he have any voices that aren't just different pitches of Bender?
Even Dimaggios run as Joker was just him doing "Bender but evil guy"
Kevin Michael Richardson (the voice I think is most known as Principal Lewis from American Dad) had a better Joker voice. Even though again it still sound like Principal Lewis, just on more cocaine.

Imagine smiling friends returns half a decade later, and the announcement is just Mr. landlord holding up a “Smiling friends returns!” Sign whilst saying “IT WAS ALL A RUSE YOU PATHETIC LITTLE ANTS”

He ended the show, he could start it again
