Nobody tell them that Bill Nye isn't a scientist or they might have an aneurism.
Dolf Lundgren is exponentially more of a scientist (and knows there are only two genders).

So is now the time the supposedly hit piece is gonna drop?

The best part was that some interviewer brought this up a few years ago, and Dolph was very humble and said he would never say he is a scientist because he hasn't used his degree or done any scientific work in 30 years.

I rewatched the episode and liked it a lot more. Maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind this morning.

Honestly thought Zoey was actually dead. Brutally killing her between seasons is something Zach would totally do.

Season was pretty good overall, started out great, but honestly Mr. President is easily the worst episode in the series. The Allan episode seemed more about action sequences than jokes before things improved then fell down again with the brother episode which was also pretty lackluster. Last three episodes were fantastic though and were a relief to see. A shame it's over already, but I'm looking forward to Season 3 in a few years, and I'm sure Zach and the others will keep the magic going.

I liked and "got" the president episode more than the last one.
I still really don't get as someone put it the "self-congratulatory" scenes, the "I fucking love science" joke and the "I love my god and country" and stuff.
I'm sure some dangerhair is going to tell me the show was making fun of me the whole time or something.

The dude (Dana Snyder is his name btw) has been in like everything ever since he got famous off of ATHF. He was also in Bob's Burgers, which also shares an actor that was also in ATHF (H Jon Benjamin) who is more well known for being Archer.

It's either they're all a tight nit of friends, or they are all part of the same group of networks that just like to reuse the same set of voice actors.
I knew I recognized it, but I had no idea where it was from till it got pointed out

I don't know if there was anything to "get." I think it was just supposed to be silly. I don't know why I thought those scenes were funny, but I did. I also found them kind of endearing and made me like the characters even more

It’s a layered joke. The Snowman is brought to life by a radioactive flower and behaves in a comic book science magic way and then you have Bill Nye’s ghost flying around. There’s no science involved.

The other joke is that it’s a jab against the people calling Smiling Friends neo-puritanical, but at the same time poking fun at itself.

was a great episode! one of the best theyve done so far: it was funny but what made it was it was so damn charming, which made up for any luls. it reminds me of how zach said that the old south parks have a charm the newer ones dont even if the older ones arent as funny and this is one of the few times ive really gotten that sovl from it: both being the christmas eps infact
Because he deserves to be mocked for being a Fart Sniffing, Unfunny, Bootlicker.
So it's just a conservative virtue signal. Great job, you accomplished nothing and are jumping onto a bandwagon 7 years late.
calm down the both of you youre starting to sound liek /co/
I hate "adult cartoons" since they are often just entertainment for manchildren. But I'm not gonna lie, the first episode when the "kid" is revealed to be an old guy wanting to anhero got me pretty good. Anyways, since it's Adult Swim I can't wait for it to become the next Rick and Morty and see the Youtube feed being full of breadtubers, trying to intellectualize random nonsense in the background of each scene in the show.
seen a bunch of video essays on it. they all miss the point so hard, please post that zach quote on any you see

Bill Nye deserves to be mocked and laughed at in person every moment of his life for creating this:
People kept trying to "get" me into Rachel Bloom when her music video for her "Fuck Me Ray Bradbury" song enjoyed a vogue on the internet, and later sometimes with her show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, but I found her tiresome after a minute.

As far as the episode goes, I thought it was a high point to end the season on. There were a few points this season that I wouldn't call "low points", I just found them just kind of "eh, okay" but I think for the most part this season was especially funnier than the previous. I also appreciated Allan and Mr. Boss being more involved this season.

I enjoyed the snowman episode. It was more fun than it was funny. I honestly would have picked spamtopia as the season closer, but it barely matters. I feel season 2 had higher highs and lower lows as opposed to season 1 which was more constant in the episode quality. I wouldn't call any episode bad yet though. I feel the episodes with B-plots are the best format for high tier episodes.

Curious about the season 3 order. I wonder if zach and michael would use a bigger budget for more episodes or to go harder in each episode. I guess they could do both since adult swim has to be aware smiling friends pulls numbers now. I am nervous though because that now means management knows smiling friends is popular and might try to butt in.
I hope we get a second "smiling friends go to" episode and it is an action adventure, the complete episode of the brazil episode

Charlie's girlfriend is alive!
One of you fuckers in this thread called this character a "quirk chungus gf" and now I can't stop thinking about it whenever she shows up. I hate you for implanting this in my brain.

It started out strong (the president one is one of my favorite episodes so far) before falling off a little bit with the scientist, alien, and demon wife episodes, before picking up again with the last 2

But even the episodes I didn't like as much had their moments, especially the demon one. I loved the gag where, immediately after the boss gets married, the break room is woman-ified and the cameo was top tier incredible.

But at the end if the day it feels like a real show made by actual people, which is sadly rare from modern adult swim.

Then Charlie does a “I love my co-workers, I love my God, and I love my country” before the Snowman causes a tidal wave.
I was expecting Zoey to look annoyed at Charlie when he didn't mention her.
Also, is Winter-een-mas an actual thing in Burgerland? The only time I've heard of it was in Ctrl-Alt-Delete, though I wouldn't put it past Zach to make that reference.

I liked that majority of the season. Worst was the Mr. President episode, but I liked it more than most people here seemed to, I guess gross slobs are just funny to me. I'm glad the rumor about the Bill Nye estate was BS, it's weird that the preview was privated, I wonder what happened behind the scenes. Also glad Master Shake got a voice cameo, Aqua Teen is my favorite cartoon ever (not joking, it was comfort food as a high schooler), so to have a voice actor be on one of the only modern cartoons I like feels like a full circle kind of thing.
