now that I've noticed the gwimbly prolapse I can't take Oneys "I want to take hedge clippers and cut them off" off my mind.
I've been scrolling through the smiling friends hashtag on xitter just to look at new fanart. There's neat stuff along with the stupid faggotry (maid charlie especially) and the interesting part is many of the ones posting the latter have Palestinian and watermelon emojis on their names lmao. :story:

Nice touch with the CEO and the current state of games, tho it woulda been funnier if they went all the way with roasting naughty dog and use roided abby from tlou2 instead of trog-whatever considering Doom 2016 was a much better game than tlou2. Wouldn't be surprised if the original idea was making fun of the current trend of ugly butch women as badass characters but someone in the post-lazlow AS told them "no fucking way you're making fun of my RELIGION chud!".

Still good episode.

I don't think Zach is the kind of guy who would generally give a shit about this current culture war stuff. If anything, he'd mock it as relentlessly as he did with the gaming industry.

I think it depends on how it’s done. The writing for Forspoken and that Saints Row remake really REALLY annoyed him.

I don't see it as culture war but as part of their "hide the mediocrity" strategy.

The worse a game is the most shoved-in diversity and other crap it has, to the point when people see diversity on a game now they'll automatically think it'll be shit.
 
I'll be honest I think the whole joke about the Game CEO was a pretty old one, feels like a joke that was already over done 6 years ago, let alone now. Not to say it isn't accurate, I just wish they did something a bit more with it than what they did.
 
You have no idea how much I laughed over the "America has a fucking fentanyl crisis" line in the episode. It was so out of nowhere and the implication that Mr. Millipede died from an OD made the joke way more fucked up and more hilarious.
