I never even watched the series, and never will. It looked like garbage and its synopsis didn't help matters

It always seemed, at least superficially, like a parody of shows from the 2010's. I'm sure that's not what the creator intended, but I've seen art from people who hate shows from that era that looked almost 1:1, it's uncanny.
