Loved this one, there's something special about some kind of mad scientist or wizard turning out to be a dipshit loser. Once again there's a bunch of different animation styles from people I've seen around the internet so it makes the show really fun to watch and not just listen to. Hope they keep bringing people in.

In episode 3, we can see the ransom note left behind has some scribbles on it of the landlord and a dolphin critter? As well as those neat middle school S things, and the landlord's drawing of him driving a car in Burnout Revenge for the PS2.

I didn't hate this episode, but I did feel it was kinda weak. Again, I think it just suffered from the 11 minute runtime. There was a lot they had to cram in to it to move the story along, but I think it would have benefitted from a little bit more of Prof Psychotic and Doug's journey to reconnecting to each other. I also miss the b-plots.

I just hope the show continues its success and eventually they at least get to try a half hour special or something.

Also, better merch. I can't believe the absolute garbage that Adult Swim is selling.

I feel like a lot of the episodes could do with extended editions when the inevitable blu ray comes out, but i will go to bat for the newest episode as i thought the ending was fine. the character of doug is established as being ready to burst especially when pressed on his own flaws and that blow up near the end is the kind of catharsis he needed. then his brother is really just doing the egg shit because he lacks the strong familial trio that he had when his mother was alive so having this weird fucked up "son" gave him motivation in his life again. then the whole idea of this scenario being sweet but also fucked up and weird is what discomforts charlie who is moreso a normal person but pim is completely unphased because he's just seeing it thru the eyes of a lil critter

that's why i disagree with the idea that "pim and charlie did nothing", because if they didnt have that argument and then see the creature the relationship wouldnt be mended. if professor psychotic showed this creature to his brother without them first fighting their differences still wouldnt be resolved, he'd still have his repressed anger and would probably blow up at it. honestly kind of an interesting episode because the characters for as bizarre as they are do the classic smiling friends trick of making them essentially archetypes of real people but with bizarre quirks or hobbies

I thought this one was the funniest of the season. It reminded me the most of season one, especially with the bits of world building we saw. The half-assed cartoonify effect on the live action brother really aided the awkwardness of a sibling rivalry.
