Consider the following

If you tell millennials (well, at least from my experience on Reddit 5+ years ago) that Bill Nye isn't a scientist and is (was) in fact an actor/comedian, you'll get the same reaction as if you tell a boomer that the moon landing was staged.

Bill Nye is and always has been a little bitch, so him getting full lawsuit mode about something like this is totally on brand for him. If he actually cared about his real though, you'd think he wouldn't have made that shit Netflix show where that chick was singing about her "sex junk" and "butt stuff". He lost what little credibility he ever had back then and he isn't gonna get it back by suing the Smiling Friends.

Finally caught up. Loved the whole episode based on the Russian homunculus guy, laughed my ass off when he crushed him with book like in the original, smacking it with The God Delusion was even funnier. I love the deep cuts they can make while also remaining funny. I also noticed a lot more sakuga in this season, especially in the Alan episode and the alien episode, glad they got a higher budget after the success of season 1, huge fan of the mixed media style. Can’t wait to see which micro-e-celeb they bring in next. Thanks Smiling Friends for making me smile!

I didn't find this one particularly funny, but things that get on my nerves can kill my sense of humor pretty easily. The snowman screaming was annoying. I hope we get season 3 soon... this is the only new tv show I'm watching, unless Beavis and Butthead gets another season.

Were the overly positive stuff and comments about the boss being a stand-up comedian a specific reference to something or making fun of something?
I feel like I'm not entirely getting the jokes there.
 
Just finished the last two episodes. 8 was fine, got me laughing in a few places. 7 had me cracking up the whole time
