It took me a while to remember it because I never actually watched the film, except for a few clips - it was from that period Williams was starring in a lot of films where, not content with tickling peoples' funny bones with his schtick, Williams was aiming to violently tug on their heartstrings and I was like "no thanks".

Its a wholesome show as in it gives positive lessons about life and has positive takeaways, unlike most of the adult animated shows from the west which are drenched in cynicism and misanthropy, sometimes fun to watch like with South Park and Mike Judge, sometimes abject shit like with Bojack Inside Job and whatever Cali shits out. Granted I havent seen S2 since I havent been able to find good torrents but I assume its more of the same.

I dont know if I count as part of that cause I remember watching stuff like this, AI, Patch Adams and Babe on television as a kid among countless others. I was born in 00 so this mustve been sometime between 09 and 12.

What we didn't know about Jimble's Hawaiian shirt is: it was actually a white shirt two days ago. Still S-tier gross character for me.

I think the joke was that it was lolsorandom (I did lol) with the added absurdity of the voice actor sounding nothing like Bill Nye at all.

hope they tone down the drawn out so called "realistic" dialogue that got ramped up in season 2, i always like to imagine these creators listen to feedback on the show but most of the internet seems to actually like this, so i don't really expect it to change. that aside i did mostly like the new series, animation got a seriously nice bump up and the guests were great. loved the joel haver and cool 3d world appearances.

notably i didn't really hate any of them, the alien one felt kind of rick and morty and the allan adventure plot seems to have been done a bit before but even those episodes have great qualities to them. a little worse than season 1 but no clear decline in quality yet at all. i was just really glad to get new episodes to begin with because there's not really many other modern cartoons i watch period. now the waiting period returns.

I recall seeing footage of an interview on Letterman with Tony Randall, he talked about being in Germany and seeing an episode of The Odd Couple dubbed into German and whoever was dubbing Felix Unger used what he described as a ridiculously weird high-pitched voice.
