I think Smiling Friends has a lot more staying power. It knows what it wants to be and does it well. But like all comedy shows, it will either get cancelled while it's still good, or will slowly decline like Simpsons or South Park. I think it's got a few more seasons, though, before the entropy starts setting in.

If that happens, it will be preceeded by Zach leaving and the show coming under a new "creative direction". Zach knows about the Simpsons, Rick and Morty, he's talked before of how he's very focused on just making a funny cartoon and nothing more. He's also already had to ditch a project and start anew before with Hellbenders. His departure will be a key part of the decline, whether he is pressured out, loses interest or finds the show to be morphing in to something he doesn't want. I can't speak for Michael, don't know anything about him other than being Pim.

He has his own show, YOLO Crystal Fantasy, and I think a show called Koala Man not on adult swim. YOLO’s pretty funny, he also did Australian Rick and Morty. I think if Zach leaves he would too. I can pretty easily see them getting bored of projects.

I've looked up his stuff now, turns out I'm more familiar with it than I thought. Chuck Her in the Ute is a classic. I must check out his shows.

I mean think about it, the lunatics get weeded out quick and sometimes phonebooked here while Reddit they get their dick sucked for assassinating some dude with XYZ opinion. It is nearly a perfect analogy.
