The unscripted "realistic dialogue" was funny for a couple episodes in season 1 but yea they really need to drop it and focus on the surrealism.
 
Not a top ten episode, but still enjoyable.
The mole guy talking about his penis got a snicker from me at first, and of course you have to have an episode where they show a 'fan' acting out how smiling friends should go. The Jesse Venture bits also got me, as did Glep being blown up like a Stretch Armstrong. The middle was a bit of a low point and the ending didn't really hit, but there's nothing wrong with a second Shrimp-esque ending.
 
Didn't care much for this one. It felt a bit like they were scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas, at least with the mole man bit. The B-plot with Allan and Glep had more going for it - granted maybe I'm biased because it's been so long since we've seen Glep do anything of note.

This really feels like "the OneyPlays episode" with them calling out fans inserting themselves as one of the friends, telling Pim and Charlie to "do their classic, relatable dialogue", and even having Moleman do one of Zach's hypothetical.

Also, going to be a two week break until the next episode. Fuck.

I think my main gripe with the show at this point is the episode length. I know it's meant to be one of those short little adult swim shows but I feel like a lot of the time the plot doesn't get enough time to actually develop much, sometimes it sort of just feels like ADHD shit made to appeal to tiktok zoomers.

Though, I guess if my only complaint about a show is that there isn't enough of it, that's a good thing. I just think it deserves a little more time to feel a little less forced and rushed.
