The latest episode was probably my third "best episode this season thus far" moment, which is quite an amazing feat to accomplish. The overall story, characters, variety of animation and the little jokes sprinkled everywhere were all top-notch. I really liked the Mr. Frog background image on Charlie's phone and the red police officer continuously cocking the shotgun while the ejected shells keep piling up on the ground. The post-credits scene was also pretty great.

Charlie buying Destruction by Thomas Cole was my favorite joke in this episode. Considering how the real painting is actually smaller (39.5 inches by 63.5 inches / 100 cm by 161 cm), he might have gotten scammed as well, which makes this situation even funnier if you think about it.

The doctor keeping the parasite for himself was surprisingly relatable.

Because they understand the issue with current Simpsons (and probably have some fondness for its better days), while The Simpsons doesn’t understand why SF caught on and were just being old-lames about it.
