I liked it. The Boss suicide baiting/ suicide extorting Glep was funny. I feel like that as a dark joke does not get used enough, it’s my favorite bit from Blazing Saddles.

First episode of the season, he’s security/ custodian/ fix-it man. It’s why shit goes to hell after he leaves.

They really like playing with animation don’ts. Characters breaking rules for designs like Charlie and Glen being seen from head-on rather than portrait style.

This TV segment was the funniest bit of the episode for me.
 
Episode had a lot of good moments, but this is the first time I felt that the runtime as starting to cut into the series considering I literally said "wait, it's already been 8 minutes" while watching it. That said, it was still a good episode. Probably the most accurate any show has been about how the founding fathers actually acted in real life.
 
Episode being longer could really fuck with the enjoyment/flow of the show. Metalocolyose is a good example of that.
 
I see people coming up with conspiracy theories about Zach H. and Michael C. where Cusak is actually a real life Pim sort of character and Hadel is this evil chudmeister who forces him to insert questionable, "problematic" humor into the show. Though that at least is amusing, compared to the people who are trying to come up pseudo-intellectual analyses of the show - I'm sure we'll see three hour long video essays popping up with titles like "The Toxic Positivity of Pim" soon.
 
I thought it was pretty good. Can't really do as much as one would like with Glep since he can't talk, so I wasn't expecting much. I did finally get my wish and Marge Simpson had some dialogue. Love Zach's continued dedication to taking fantastical scenarios and just nosediving them down to something realistic with that bit at the end. Like that Mr. Bean hypothetical on OneyPlays where Zach just scolds Mr. Bean for skulking around the store and stealing food.

One thing that I like in this season is the Boss acting like an actual employer, especially when it cuts from his usual behaviour.

Maybe he has ultimate job security being the only one who knows how to do few choice things. Crazy apartment on his salary though.
 
The setup of everything in the office going to shit after Glep gets fired is so cliché they didn't even spend time showing how.
