what do smokers think of vapers

I think about vapers about the same as they think of me probably. I don't honestly get the point of vaping as it's just nicotine flaverd juice. Taste is no where near a fine cigarette. "Competitive Vaping" is the gayest shit in the goddamn universe. I smoke cigarettes, so blowing clouds upon clouds of shite that smells like pine sol spray is pretty annoying to me. I always find vapers far more annoying than other smokers, usually because they are just blowing clouds inside a public building. That's just my opinion though. Obviously not everyone who vapes fits that description.

Fite me, bro.

Back when I smoked though, I was a Djarum Black guy. Loved my cigars too. Still have one ever so often.

'Ey that's some smooth taste right there. I lived off Djarum for like 3 years when I worked at a local convenience store. Still grab 'em every now and then too.
Like I said, it's just the kid fags that think blowing giant clouds in public spaces is cool that really get to me. Other than that I don't have a real problem with vapers. It's your nicotine intake anyway. Take it how you want it.

At current count I have about 2000 cigars. It's kind of a problem because while I like buying them, I don't really get a lot of time to smoke them. My go-tos are Honduran El Rey Del Mundo Obscuros and Cuban Montecristo No. 2's, but recently I've been pretty keen on the La Palina Black Label:

EDIT: If you're a cigar smoker in the US, but haven't purchased anything for a while, stay the fuck away from Cigars International, Cigar.com, and pipesandcigars.com (all the same company). They're having some sort of epic meltdown right now. Orders going missing or shipped to totally wrong addresses, people finding hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise missing from their shipments, customer service not answering emails and not picking up the phone for hours (and sometimes not at all). It's so bad that their parent company, Scandinavian Tobacco Group, had to issue a revised guidance for their investors admitting that 2017 is probably going to suck.

The company’s new guidance suggests that there will be negative sales growth and a negative EBITDA of 4-8 percent compared to a previous estimate of flat sales growth and a positive EBITDA of 1-3 percent.
Ouch.

I have a box coming in from them on Thursday and from what I'm hearing from other people it'll be a miracle if it shows up and is actually what I ordered. I'm also told that if it isn't, I'm basically SOL because they're not going to answer the phone.

Finally, we can cigar sperg.
Personally, my go-to for cigars is a Romeo y Julieta 1875 Bully. Perfect length, perfect flavor, pairs well with food and any kind of drink, it's just literally perfect.

I have a few RYJ 1875's but I've never gotten around to them (Like I said, I have a problem.) I think the ones I've got have about 6-7 years age on them, but I don't think I have any Bully's. (If I remember right, the ones I have are Churchills) Do you know if they blend up and down, or do they just do what Cubans do and use the exact same blend for all of their vitolas?

As far as time is concerned, I really like the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Figurados and the Fuente Hemmingway Short Stories.

For me I usually go back and fourth between Newport 100s and Marlboro Menthol 100s. All this depends on mood, taste and who's buying.

I used to have a 2 pack a day Marlboro red habit. My Chief Bedwarmer had a 3 pack a day Marlboro light 100 habit. Now, we vape.

We both switched to e-cigs (Vuse Solo) and I liked the flavor of the Original cartridges, but they got pricy after a bit. We switched to the V2 Vape Pen, but it still didn't have the same. . . . Lung feel, I guess? I bought the Smok AL85, and loved it... for a while. Bedwarmer got the same unit later, and it is perfect for him. He still smokes every once in a while but no where near as much. I eventually found the AL85 kind of. . . weak. It overheated when I used a quad coil, even at low wattage, and the battery lid would get scorching hot during charging. Like unusually hot. Plus, I had to charge it 2 times a day or it wouldn't work even when it read it was half charged. I figured the single battery setup was to blame So I switched to the Alien 220 watt double battery unit, with the Big BEAST tank, and I LOVE it. I am no Cloud chaser, I just like a huge fucking cloud every once in a while. I have completely quit smoking, and am only vaping with 3 MG juice.

The vaping is more expensive, at first. I paid $130 for my Alien, another $45 for the bigger tank, $5 each for cores, and liquid can go for anywhere from $10.00 to $40.00 a bottle, depending on what kind and the MG of Nicotine.

I didn't quite smoking because I didn't want to smoke. Hell, I LOVE smoking, honestly, I wouldn't have smoked for so long if I didn't! But in CA, a pack of Reds goes for $7.75!! That is a lot of scratch! And I really hate former smokers. They think they're so damn superior, and they prattle on and on about quitting. Fuck man, just lemme light up my cancer stick in peace!!!!

Ugh. Long winded post is loooooong

I haven't seen Djarum's for a long ass fucking time. Which sucks. Shit was like smokable candy. Granted in my neck of the woods you got mocked a lot for smoking them. Because things that taste nice are lame or something. Same effect as ordering a fruity cocktail at a bar for some reason that is beyond me.

I quit 2 years ago. Happy about that :) But don't mind when other people smoke.
At this point I've just accepted that I'm never going to bring myself to quit smoking. I cut down on it a lot, but after some 10 years of chaining shit constantly it's pretty much embedded in my life in a really insidious way. Tried vaping as a replacement but it's just not the same. I don't really think it's even the nicotine, I don't get headaches or any of that shit. It's just this psychological craving I can't shake. I have an addictive personality in general. Smoking is one of those compulsive behaviors I developed in a futile attempt to deal with the general bullshit that is the modern world. I figure if I wasn't smoking or drinking endless coffee I'd end up chugging beer or some shit constantly.

Some people paint, some people whittle, some people play video games, I drink coffee and smoke like a fucking maniac. And I suck at painting.

A couple years ago when I was broke, I saw some people were using hand injecting cigarettes tubes with pipe tobacco. I tried it and never looked back. The amount of money you end up saving is pretty significant, and now I even prefer it to the regular stuff. My state just raised the tax by two dollars on packs of cigarettes and the smoke shops I go to struggle to keep up with the demand. So until they start taxing pipe tobacco at the same rate, you can eat my entire ass, State.
:shit-eating:

They were always associated with the duster and fedora crowd to me. Not neckbeard but hipster. Still, those were delicious, one of the few things other than Dunhills that I miss about smoking.

Rolling Tobacco - Auld Kendal, Gold Blend lovely peppery aftertaste.
Pipe Tobacco - Solani, silver flake nice almost creamy texture to the smoke.
Cigars - Depends on my mood but at the moment I'm enjoying a Inka sampler pack I was gifted by my Tobacconist for being a valued customer.
Premade - Depends on what I'm doing but normally Marlborough Red's or Bright Leaf (strong smokes).

I’m necro-ing this because I got my hands on a Iqos, it’s sort of a cross between a vape and real ciggies.
It’s heat, not burn tobaccy.

it’s a pain in the ass to use but you smoke a lot faster and it hits faster than a regular ciggie. I don’t see this going nationwide, it was interesting but I think most peeps would rather either vape or just do a regular cigarette.

I smoke cigars about two or three nights a week. Lately I've been on a Tubak kick, with Care Con Leche's and Red Eyes for the most part. The pair really well with a good old fashioned on a summer evening spent on the front patio or with friends around a firepit

I used to roll them by hand without a filter and I could do it one handed although they always came out a bit uneven, it was just a show-off thing when out drinking. Quitting was easy, I just switched to swedish snus. Boom, done.
