SneedChat Complaint Thread

Chat has had a lot of trouble connecting on my end. Most of the time it's just endlessly stuck in the "Connecting to SneedChat... Connection lost. Please wait - attempting reestablish" loop. When it does connect (which is completely random), any refreshing of the page or tabbing out for a few minutes gets it stuck on the connecting loop again. This issue seems to be consistent across my devices, and irrespective of whether I have my VPN on or not.

Opera doesnt work at all (95%), Tor is a bit iffy. Firefox works 100% for me, dunno,
 
Is there a reason why I can't access General Chat? I seem to recall Josh mentioning it on the latest MATI and it reminded me that I've never seemed to be able to access it. Before now I've just always assumed it was broken or something. I can access all the other chats fine. Is this an error or is there some account threshold thing I'm just not aware of? Is my nuggie meat too fresh? I tried looking for an answer to this but couldn't find it.
 
A feature request the ability to disable auto play on gifs/disable image loading. Aside from that it has been working reliably since the deployment of KiwiFlare.

I had the same experience. I'm assuming General Chat is disabled for some (all?) users because every other chat seems to work fine for me. "You cannot join this room. Try refreshing. If you still have issues, post in the Sneedchat Discussion thread."

Does this matter at all? In practicality what happens when some elements on a page aren't https? Are the glowies coming for me?

It's been down for a while. Josh needs to wake up and smack that bitch ass server back online.
 
The chat is more active now and it's breaking the federated setup. I am having a ton of difficulty replicating the error in development but I took a swing at it just now. Hoping it works.

The chat's not working at all, oh well! I can always go for conversations in personal messages.
 
I haven't had access to general chat for a while, no idea why. I've barely talked in it so I'm fairly certain it's not a ban or anything.
 
Sneedchat seems to currently be broken. At first it kept loading, saying 'Connected!' and then not actually loading the messages or the interface, but now it says I can't join the room. Yknow, the "You cannot join this room. Try refreshing. If you still have issues, post in the Sneedchat Discussion thread." one. Have refreshed multiple times and keeps throwing up that error.
