I have finally gotten the game on a separate account, so now to install mods and stuff. Do I have to install all of them for it to work properly with the server? Idk how the game handles stuff if there's any sort of mismatch.

Do we have an updated list of mods? The one I saw near the front of the thread seems smaller than it was. Unless that's because of an update? Ignore that, I missed the spoilered list.

Game is like GMOD or Arma it will auto download all mods you need when you try to join the server (if joining throught steam) and as mentioned before by me you can use your main steam account and just family share the game with your kf only alt.

Ok. I've never played those but good to know. I did it the other way around but eh, if it works it works. I'll try to get on later today or tomorrow (FFXIV dropped the next big patch so might be raiding tonight). Fingers crossed I don't die immediately.

It occurs to me I should look up how to chat in-game and such.

Iirc, in B42 you can choose the spawn area of the city you pick? Where should I pop in, in y'all's opinion? I hear we're out of power now, so somewhere I can help with that might be nice. Need generators and gas, yes?

Like few hours before you join you could ask here who will be availible to play in x ammount of hours so that you can get to see other people.
And for the chat it is T then you type /all texthere by default it is /say and that will only send message to people around you in very small radius
And for spawn brand new ver 17 added various spawn points so if you can go to "Echo Creek" (here is the site with a good map https://b42map.com/ WARNING we do have few mods that add few towns and shit but it is still usable) there we secured the gas station as a base.
If you canont spawn there you can spawn in Mald and go hole up in Fire station (its modded location in Mald near maccoy) last time i was there there werent many zombies there and if billy didnt take it there should be a firefighter car that only needs fuel (i left key in ignition)

Pic related in that ?blue? ?purple? square is the car if its not there just grab any melee weapon and start breaking into cars (NEVER EVER) break driver window always break passanger since if you break driver window you will be easily bitten by zombie (you break window by clicking V and selecting smash window)

Yeah I got hit by allergies so I wasn't in the best condition. But thank you for the tips! Especially the passenger side window one!

I'll try to be on tomorrow around 1pm EST or so. If nothing else I'll dootz around and see what is going on and what I can nab before I need to pick up the husband. And try to not die, of course.

edit: It's bitching that the "workshop item version is different than the server's, I think for Spongie's Clothing maybe? That's where it seems to stop the sync.

Well yeah it is kinda barren after hype went down which is kinda expected for sandbox games doubly so that KF is only site this server was advertised.

Edit: In the middle of me building a wall some faggot updated his crowbar mod so yea i guess it can wait

Ah, brother, I shall build a synagogue shul temple nearby and we can pray loudly together. Because if there's something we can agree upon, it's that pork is unclean and the zeds are more so. An affront to God and Man!

...I am randomly reminded that I need to look for a fancy hat when I get on. Preferably a top hat, but whatever makes me look extra snazzy 8)
