I have another excuse to stay inside and do nothing for the next week.

We lost power for around 36 hours. Was pretty shitty tbh. Water is still out but thats liveable as long as the house isn't cold inside like it was the last couple of nights. Feel pretty bad for older people and people with small kids, I know at least 25 people in the state have died already, and some areas still don't have power and are doing that rolling black out shit. Hotels are completely full in the cities and turning people away. Tis bad news bears around these parts, hope everyone is holding up well.

damn, we don't have a "yeeehaw" reaction. I've lived in Yankee territory long enough I can drive in snow..these people are retarded.
A lot of them are also dead... but yeah. I grew up in the Midwest, so I too was taught from a young age how much ice and snow need to be respected, then I learned to drive in it and have been doing so for 15+ years.

I think this shit is a combination of lack of experience and a false sense of security that their $80,000 luxury pickup trucks with 4 wheel drive and a $1,500 "off-roading option package" can magically defy the laws of physics.

Also, the fiasco in Texas with the power outages is an obvious Dem psy-op to seed dissatisfaction with the Texas GOP. Wake up people.

I see some of the frozen pipes are starting to melt in Texas. Enjoy the flood from all the burst pipes though.

Does Twitter and other democrat/leftist retards not know about generators? All I see is them snapping pics of one of the cities bitching about how they have power and its to show how "evil" Republicans are. Blame your "green new deal" bullshit, not the other party.

Well, my pipes are finally thawed out, but it's snowing again.
Sucks, you American wanks have stole all the good snow, we barely get any that lasts a week now. Don't even start me on those Canadian thieves either.
IIRC the British Isles are further north than the US, so be careful what you wish for.

Things here normal, on the West Coast right next to the Pacific. About 42 degrees right now, may hit 60. Things not normal in the Dallas area. Very limited power. Luckily, son's house has a fireplace. Everyone seems okay, especially the baby. Water seems to be okay. Temperatures slowly warming. My brother lives in Illinois, old hat to them.
