So I'm trying to archive at risk Classic content from Youtube, any tip offs?

upside of bitchute: you can link to a youtube channel and they'll automatically mirror all the videos on that channel for you

downside of bitchute: everything will be reduced to below 1kbps quality. archive.org doesn't fuck with the files you upload to it.

Actually because I'm quite a bit in the circle of Bitchute news, seems Youtube tries to fuck with that. Not confirmed yet but it seems likely that youtube is trying to break that feature.
But yeah, the quality of videos has improved but it's not ideal. It's just more the best place for accessing the content reasonably. Archive.Org is really good at finding some of those rare videos on occassion but I think there needs to be a more open location for it.

Use 4KVideoDownloader it allows for easy download of entire channels and playlists. Start by downloading what you personally enjoy and want to be able to watch forever creators are fickle and could delete there own content at the drop of a hat. After that edgy humour, political commentary, and conspiracy theory content are the three categories that are at the most risk.
Upload to Archive.org, as long as it's not flat out porn they will allow it.

EDIT: Just realized you said classic content. At the popular "classic" content has been saved and has already been uploaded multiple times, you're better off aiming for more recent stuff. Youtube does have a sort by Upload Date feature though you can utilize to find lesser known old content if you just feel like being an archivist.

Already use 4K downloader, been the most reliable. However it doesn't save comments as I found out recently some downloaders can do. So I want to save those if I can, some videos really have value with the comments. I need to look into that more. But yeah I got most of the people I personally enjoy, and edgy humor guys. But I'm trying to find any gaps in my knowledge and any people suspected to be nuked very soon. (I have been downloading some political commentary and Conspiracy content too, but need to do alot more and grab more people.)

I feel like being an archivist, thanks for the tip on the Upload Date feature. Though playlists have been quite valuable. Got the old school youtube playlist and about to grab the important videos playlists after I smash through a specific download. Any modern classic content I just need a pointer too basically.

Like mainly, I'm just asking for more specific suggestions on what to download. Specific channels or videos.Since it helps my job alot if I have someone suggest something I might of not seen or glossed over.
