So there's apparently a new Ranma 1/2 anime in the works

Shouldn't have been female Ranma vs. Kuno fight where the point was that the female version is weaker? Or is it later?

Ok, I binged read the last 200ish chapters of the manga the last three days and I thought that the ending of the manga overall was fine. But can we talk about that how much of the 300's are weak stories where there is this sense that the manga is wrapping up but then the next chapter is just a normal story. Its an odd thing

Rumiko Takahashi is kind of legendary in not being able to do a decent ending to save her life. Well other then her Mermaid Saga and maybe Inu Yasha.
Doesn't Maison Ikkoku have a good ending? I thought how Ranma ended was pretty soild but I got the sense reading the last hundered chapters that she was loosing interest in it and wanted to move on to new things.

I do wish the OG Anime lasted long enough to finish the manga's story because I think the shows tendency to have filler would have actually made some of the weaker 300 stories more palpable.

And apperently Takahashi doesn't view Mermaid Saga as completed

UY and Ranma are gag mangas. They're not really structured for "satisfying" endings in the way Maison Ikkoku and Inu Yasha were.

Its not her most popular manga, but I still contend that Maison Ikkoku is Takahashi's best manga. Its the only one where she didn't obviously lose interest halfway and the only one to tell a coherent and complete story. The back half of Ranma is just bad, and the less said about latter Inu Yasha, the better.

So far my issue with the new season is that the VAs are pretty bland.

Also reminder of the best EDs in anime
I saw a fan animation of that a couple months ago that was really good

I think its more the last 25% where the lack of interest really started to show. There are still some good arcs and even a few 'classic' ones there (Valentine's Day is a great one off) and I laughed at Shampoo just beating up Pink and Link everytime.

Netflix needs death, and so do people like the guy who made this video and most of the people who commented on it.
Nobody is Bi nor queer in Ranma at all. There are some crossdressing but that's about it. Ranma isn't trans or anything just cursed. He is vain about his apperence as either gender but that's more an ego thing then a latent gender thing
