I know Null uses Arch, but what DE does he use? We must see Nulls Arch Rice. If I were to guess, he strikes me as an arch-KDE kind of guy. He's too fat and lazy to rice Linux like me.

I just use Plasma. I don't rice. I reformat my devices very frequently and just use defaults.I know Null uses Arch, but what DE does he use? We must see Nulls Arch Rice. If I were to guess, he strikes me as an arch-KDE kind of guy. He's too fat and lazy to rice Linux like me.
based plasma is very pretty have you had any major issues with running arch or did you just use an install script?I just use Plasma. I don't rice. I reformat my devices very frequently and just use defaults.
Based. Ricing is for autistic faggots.I literally just run it out of the box as is.
Only alt youtube app that has the best pip out of everything. I'm not really sure why other android fags like to limit the size of pip.Thanks. The newpipe dev is a german faggot who doesn't like adding platforms that have "hate speech".
I always wondered that one too. I think I used the same cracked version of WinRAR for about 10 years so I never had to deal with the registration nags. The one I wonder about is whether anyone ever bought WinRAR.
I remember WinRAR being very useful for a while when I needed to split archives that were too big for a single DVD-R or to password lock stuff that gmail would otherwise scan and reject when I was working on programs with other people. It was a great program and I really should have thrown the author a few bucks in hindsight. Also, you can't create RAR archives in 7-Zip.
Why would you want to do that anyway? The 7z format is great. Also, you can't create RAR archives in 7-Zip.
Some "people" might be retarded and only want to accept RARs. Tarballs and 7z archives (debatably even ZIP because it's not encumbered) are just better. Why would you want to do that anyway? The 7z format is great.
Uhm, that's not very l337 of you. Next you'll be saying that I should just name the textfile in a torrent with a normal human extension like '.txt' or '.1st' instead of '.nfo'.Why would you want to do that anyway? The 7z format is great.
grey windows are gay your first post sucksHey Null, just wanted to let you know that Blank is the best color scheme for Plasma.
It brings back grey windows as White Men intended. I fucking hate how light themes are eye burning and dark ones go in the opposite way too much..
You can download it via Settings application.

Also first post, so hello. I'm happy that you are a stubborn autist and the site is still working against all odds.
Extensions? On text files? Text files aren't supposed to have extensions.Uhm, that's not very l337 of you. Next you'll be saying that I should just name the textfile in a torrent with a normal human extension like '.txt' or '.1st' instead of '.nfo'.
The Linux Gui likes extensions alsoExtensions? On text files? Text files aren't supposed to have extensions.
windows users smh
Sometimes, but most of the time it uses other heuristics like magic numbers. Determining the type of a file is actually quite a nasty process. Sometimes, the name of the file does things, such as a file named "COPYING" having a copyright icon. At least that's how it works on KDE.The Linux Gui likes extensions also

Yeah file assocations are tricky. I remember Nokia's Symbian being prone to viruses because it completely ignored the file extension - you could be downloading something like "cutepug.gif" and when you open it all your company secrets get uploaded to your competition.Sometimes, but most of the time it uses other heuristics like magic numbers. Additionally, file associations for opening programs work on MIME types, and not extensions.
Nigger, do you seriously think that scanning the first few bytes of every single file in a directory to determine a magic number is a good idea? Like, there's a folder full of a few thousand .JPEG photos synced from your phone, you think that every single .JPEG needs to be checked to make sure that they do, indeed, look like JPEG files?Sometimes, but most of the time it uses other heuristics like magic numbers.
