What do you get out of it?

All of the lolcow threads are basically a free book on all the stuff not to do if you want to live a chill, semi-normal life without any huge issues. Also a great lesson that the risks that come from oversharing everything to the entire world are not worth the small chance of becoming a celebrity.

A decent chunk of the cows would have their problems disappear overnight if they just stopped posting, but for whatever reason, they just can't help themselves. Of course you also have the occasional faggot who secretly enjoys it because they have a humiliation fetish (Bowblax).
