Goddamnit, would you shut the fuck up about Something Awful deserving its own thread or not?
This thread is about Something Sensitive. I've put up a poll for weather or not SA also deserves its own thread, but I won't act until I get clearance from a mod. Now can we please get the fuck back on topic?
Having been there (it's where I found some info on some of the SJWs we discuss here), I'm not sure I'd call them lolcows. They DO have unironic racists and shitty opinions, but they also have people who oppose racism and a lot of racism that is clearly satire, and most of their edginess is, to paraphrase their "fagmins", a reaction to how you can't be the edgy shitposters you could be back when Something Awful actually was more a comedy forum and less an echo chamber for catladies and SJW faggots without being banned for wrongthink.
On the other hand, they do tend to throw around a lot of racist humor to the point the line between seriousness and satire gets real fuzzy, though they do point out that if you know the words "NIGGER TRANNY FAGGOT" will offend you, either leave before you get triggered or learn to deal with it, and from what I understand, they even have some actual black, gay, and even trans posters there who roll with the punches and even fire back some cracks of their own.
Also, they have done a lot of legit good work, such as exposing a lot of the more fucked up aspects of Something Awful, such as convicted pedophile Aaron Patrick Nadler (aka Aatrek), as well as having doxxed some other disgusting assholes, and they are pretty quick to throw out anyone in their ranks they discover to be little better.
On the other hand, they can be such assholes it's really hard to cheer for them.
Ultimately, I'd fall on the side of them just being shitposters.
