In 2014 someone on 4chan posted a history of SA's takeover by the Safe Space Illuminati. Anyone care to confirm/deny this?

It actually started around early 2011. I can explain.

There was a subforum of D&D (Debate and Discussion) called Lassiez-Faire. It was, essentially, FYAD with a focus on politics, with a mostly liberal slant to it. Eventually, a goon named ts12 rounded up a bunch of seriousposters from D&D after seeing all the fun and irony in LF to go in and end it. People from Reddit and TVTropes, seeing how much fun and original content LF had created, began buying accounts to try and fit in there, only to be compounded into the leftist, humorless D&D hivemind.

LF got closed after a handful of posters made death threats against Obama, causing the Secret Service to freeze Lowtax's bank account several times (and visit his house on a couple occasions), but the seriousposters (still led by ts12) took it upon themselves as a "sacred charge" to "enlighten the rest of the site, subforum by subforum." (pretty much the exact words) resulting in GBS becoming D&D lite, and spreading to BSS (Batman's Secret Shame, the comic subforum) Cinema Discusso, TG (TradGames), Games, and now everywhere else.

There is a silver lining, though. ts12 threw himself off the Sunshine Skyway after being arrested for throwing a big booze-a-thon for a bunch of underage kids at his house last June.

RIP SomethingAwful. The rest of the free internet is swiftly following.

So according to this guy, the Secret Service scare kind of precipitated the whole thing by destroying the hive where all the SJGoons gathered and causing them to swarm through the other boards.

A contributing factor is that the kind of maladjusted sadbrains who seem to disproportionately become goons were also predisposed to fall into the west coast socjus community. An earlier example of this same effect was the influx of lolbertarians around ~2007-2008.

The reason the SJW mindset has stuck around longer than previous fads is that its unique blend of smug condescension and righteous indignation is very appealing to the kind of obnoxious people who always seem to become mods.

Also you can make libertarian hotpockets put up with literally anything by saying "oh so you wouldn't fight to the death for my right to say that?"

They always violate them eventually if you push hard enough. I love making people break their dearly-held moral tenets.

The one they usually violate most eagerly is denouncing the government and welfare while simultaneously sponging off it themselves, usually with some ridiculous excuse like "bleeding the beast." You have to actually fuck with them hard to get them to violate the free speech one, though.

I like the ones that bang on about privatised security and mercenary police but threaten to go straight to the cops when I ask them how much they'll pay me to protect them from getting their mouth raped by me and the ten other abbos I'll bring with me.

Oh shitposting about killing the POTUS and buying fissile material from Kazakhstan usually does the trick it since they're practically all rich Americans and terrified of getting gitmo'd.

SoSe hasn't doxed them all yet?

No they're so damn slow.

My favorite libertarian quirk is that they claim paper currency is worthless without gold backing yet somehow their bitcoins are valuable.

My biggest question for Lowtax is why his life seems to be a nonstop shitstorm of drama that attracts people like David Kelly in the first place.

I'm not an expert on his history or anything, but it seems like every time I see his name pop up it's in reference to someone else in his life revealing that they're a fresh escapee from the loony bin. A loony who is somehow in a position to cause problems in his life in new and exciting ways. There's a saying that if you have a run in with an asshole that you had some bad luck that day, but if everyone you meet is an asshole then you're actually the asshole. Well when everyone you hang out with turns out to be a drama addicted schizo or an unhinged pathologically dishonest babyfur, maybe there's something wrong with how you judge people's characters.

Most people I've met in my life have been relatively chill at the end of the day. I think most people would have the same report on life in general. So at what point do you look at the conga line of maniacs parading through your life and say "Damn, maybe I'm part of this problem?"

If you ever read the old ass eFront logs, you'll see that Lowtax had zero problems throwing people under a bus for stock options.

Um, because the people I associate with who aren't insane I do not talk about. There's nothing interesting in saying "my normal friend and I hung out and watched the Royals game," and I doubt anybody would give a shit. The people who get the most attention are the ones that are the most crazy, so it's kind of flawed thinking to claim "all the people associated with this guy are crazy because those are the people I read about."

ahahahaahahahhaa

Sam Jain at eFront owed me over $33,000, and said he would start paying me if I worked full time as a community rep and was in charge of talking to their publishers and establishing a line of communication between them and the company. What the fuck are you talking about "stock options?" I never had anything to do with stock options, and I never threw anybody under a bus. The reasons I accepted a position with them was because I was absolutely broke and needed them to pay me the money owed to me, and I foolishly thought that if I was a community rep, I could get other sites the money owed to them. But hey, if that's throwing people under the bus, then whatever.
