If the issue is 4chan’s content and impact on society then he should be targeting its current owner Hiro, not the guy who decided to check out in 2014. Rich doesn’t give a fuck about mass shootings, he’s just butthurt over the book “It Came From Something Awful” while being an A-Log.

He’s angry that Moot was able to run a more popular site before selling it off, getting off the internet, and attempting to do more with his life than coast off of a website. Lowtax is far too lazy to ever consider doing the same thing and he knows it. It’s the same shit as when he whined about Notch, where he attempts to mask his seething envy with self-righteous bullshit.

It’s pretty sad, and I really think he ought to focus more on figuring out what he wants to do with his life besides the internet while providing for his family. Or at least try something more serious than a fucking YouTube channel and a podcast, even people half his goddamn age know that it’s a shitload of work and not something you’re likely to build a livelihood on.

His Facebook is an incessant goddamn pity-party for himself though.

Eh there has been almost 15 years worth of free advice offered on various "off sites" about how he could monetize shit. I dunno, KF doesn't really have a leg to stand on there, at least SA puts the banning mod and a reason right there. On KF good fucking luck figuring out which mod did something and haha fuck you if you think you're getting a reason beyond "I don't like that dude and I'm a mod, fuck off".

For example, @SourDiesel makes shitty arguments and cries to their pet mod to ban people for going against them, then privately taunts them about it.

SA mods aren't unique. They're pretty typical "impotent internet tough guys" as you say.

That's not to say they're all bad, just like on SA some of the mods were good and trying to do a decent job. But they also closed ranks to protect one another, like anywhere else.

I think naming and shaming every mod was one of SA's accidental good descisions.

Now every website does it's best to obscure shitty mods. (See github's changes for example)

I'm staggered to see months later that Lowtax is still pulling in 11 grand on Patreon. Who would've thought the ultimate solution to SA's ailing finances was to literally to just beg shamelessly and profusely for Patreon money like everyone had been joking about for years?

And I'm just as surprised to see that he's bothered by the unpopularity of his Youtube channel when as far as I recall he hasn't given a fuck about creating content since before Youtube even existed and getting tons of free, stable, uncomplicated money like he is now was so beyond his wildest dreams that he may as well have won the lottery.
