Agreed, but considering how broken Sonic Boom was, saying that Shattered Crystal (the 3DS version) was slightly less broken is like saying, "Yeah, you rolled your car of a 12-foot ravine, but hey, at least you didn't get hit by a train!"

Although I never played it, to give you a better idea of what madness the 3DS version carried, this is your "reward" for collecting all the badges in the game (I assume the game's version of Stars in Super Mario 64.)

Dear god, that video's like a nightmarish fever dream.
I like how Knuckles is the only one with functional hands.
 
The trailer is padded with footage from the cartoon. Shouldn't Sanzaru be far enough in development to actually showcase their story instead of relying on lol so random Eggman quotes from a different medium?
 
I actually like the sonic boom series better than the original. I mean yeah the first sonic boom game was utter shit, but im just glad they made the character's personalities a little more bearable and they stopped trying to take the games so seriously. I might just pick this game up for shits and giggles.

Actually, looks pretty good.
