Spazkid dropped the series ages ago. I'm not sure why, but it's probably because he didn't want to be associated with Chris too much. Or he was too busy.
Spazkid still does animations, if you're interested, but he mostly just draws weird porn nowadays.
Isn't Spazkid a massive sperg? I remember reading that somewhere.

Yeah, it's in the topic Pikonic linked.

I'm still amazed that someone more spergy than Chris managed to make something genuinely entertaining.

He's currently working on an animated music video for one of Starbomb's songs, last I heard.

Its too bad no one else ever tried their hand at an animated Sonichu.

Whenever I'm really bored I open up photoshop to cut out assets from the comic itself which I intend to animate in After Effects later. So far I've only done a test animation of the first panel, and I've only cut out the resources for most of the second page.

Progress is going really slow though since I've not found much time to be incredibly bored over the last year.

Interesting! I hope you keep at this, it seems like a really cool idea!

I love the little head bobble you gave Chris.

Is it true that Liquid Chris did Chris' voice in most of the episodes?

Sounded like him, but I doubt it actually was him.

It was. I know on Pastebin Kacey gave some interview with..whoever, where someone asked Liquid if he was going to do anymore voices for the animated series and she responded "I doubt we'll be doing any voiceovers any more, right, honey?"

Ah, thanks for clarifying that. Because I knew it sounded like Liquid, I just didn't know if it actually was him.

Does anyone know where you can find the original SWF files of the series? I tried watching it on Youtube but I can't stand the potato quality of 240p video.

Nevermind. I did a bit of digging and apparently he never published them in that format.

The creator of The Animated Series talked about it on SleepyCast.
If this can answer any of your Questions.

The only thing I learned from that was he made it in 2007, which confirmed my suspicion that he only put on Youtube. 240p it is. What's especially too bad about that is you can tell it's a shitty export of his source files too, lip syncing falls behind the audio, frames cross over each other, it's really horrible.

I have words to say about their downplay of the golden age of online animation. Back then, every online animator was much more prolific and had their own site and there were a massive variety of Flash portals, not just Newgrounds. There were also more animators overall and less of them were, well, dead. There were also the pro-league animation sites like Mondo, Weebl's Stuff and IceBox, all of which are bygone and you can't even see most of the shows they made anymore because they were all pulled. There also used to be animation teams like Team DNZ, Clairvoyance and SamBakZa, most of which don't exist anymore either. For them to say there was no golden age of online animation is absurd. They also seem to be unaware of any animators from that era apart from Adam Philips, which is ironic since he was one the best animators of the time and has zero online presence anymore. But what can I expect from and insular circle jerk like Sleepy Cast?

What happened to the Sonichu Animated series that was on YouTube a few years ago? Season 2 was pretty hilarious and had some good animation.

I had been wondering did they just end it or stopped because Chris raged about it.
The same thing that happened to Christine's hairline -- it vanished.
We really need a new one with Tomgirl Christine, though.
