Could somebody well-versed in Christory explain to me the purpose of "Sonichu's News Dash"? From what I understand, Chris was putting out copies of his Sonichu fan paper before the Sonichu comics even existed. This seems a bit pointless and bizarre to me--basically, this is a fan-paper for a character that has no existence outside of its creator's head and some random drawings...

Had Sonichu appeared anywhere (other than the one CD cover) prior to the News Dash?

Given that he was handing copies out in 2004 or so, I think his first Sonichu medallion had been made around the same time of this (well, the prototype was, anyway), so there was that. Plus, the jargon page mentions the copyright being 2000-2005, so I think the first issue of Sonichu was finished like the year after this happened or something like that.

Better yet, why don't you actually do some research and read this entire article about it on the very wiki this forum's linked to: http://www.sonichu.com/cwcki/Sonichu's_News_Dash

The forums aren't here for you to post about old stuff you can't be bothered to look up yourself. They're here for discussion and debate about interesting topics and current events. I'm sorry if that sounds mean, but I'm just trying to make you and everyone else's experience on the forum better.

In the wall of originals (are they all lost in the fire by now?) there were several Sonichu cards dating from 17 March 2000 to 16 July 2002, and you also have a black Sonichu card from 24 July 2002. He also put several Sonichu figures in the supplement of his Homemade Nintendo Power Magazine. According to the CWCki the magazine was made when Chris was 16 (meaning in either 1998/1999) while the supplement was made three years later i.e 2001/2002. And than there's also Chris + Sarah's Life-Shares, made on 2003.
 
This really didn't need its own thread, there's a thread for minor questions like this, so this will be locked.
