This was inevitable. The corporate structure in America has always been nepotistic, which is why we had retards like Don Matrick running Xbox for no actual reason. The woke shit has just reached the mass saturation point where any executive below the age of 50 comes prepackaged with woke ideology regardless of where you look.

The mass wokening of the American corporate structure was inevitable, Sony just embraced it first and now it's Nintendo's time.

Some accusations that PS5 figures are massaged upwards and are currently terrible - something we've known on here for a while.

Biggest publisher on PS is Microsoft, which is embarrassing for both, more so for Sony.

Sony regularly manipulates the stock market to make up for people not buying their shit, I honestly won’t think there will be a PS6, they just are just going to keep lying about the console sales because they know people are rejecting their product, even Normalfags are starting to prefer PC, i’m just hoping for the day a Sony Executive gets Mangione’d they are all fucking gay

There was a very insightful post over on A&N where a user made a strong argument pointing out that the AAA industry is defacto crumbling under its own weight, as is the AA and indie scene too, and not just because the budgets are out of control, but also because the customer has learned to recognize the signs of Marxist infestation and look elsewhere.

Nintendo is probably doing better than the other two because until now they had managed to keep that shit in check, for the most part. Yes, there was Treehouse and the other faggot collective butchering localization and censoring games, but for the most part the only people that tended to notice were longtime fans or terminally online autists.

The people playing the game could pick up the next Mario game with the expectation it would be free of gay race communism and that it would have an acceptable level of quality, but those days seem to be over. Nowadays Nintendo is both making slop and releasing slop made by their first-party developers, the quality of the games is noticeably worse and with the new Karen in charge of NoA, a push for more woke is starting.

Then again, maybe we're barking up the wrong tree when it comes to the Karen? Maybe this is not something Nintendo is pushing for internally, but the end result of payment processors being the usual kikes, much like how Steam has seen an increase of games being rejected, with them hinting it's specifically because of PayPal, VISA and MasterCard.
 
I see a lot of rhetoric in the Snoy fan spaces, pushed by shills, that the Steamxbox is bad, weak, over expensive hardware. That the lack of paid-for online means the quality of online will be worse, that the games are more expensive and that the (and this is the best one) walled garden of steam is stifling innovation in the console space.

Snoy fans are saying steam has no games other than 1 mmo, or something and that steam relies entirely on third parties. The irony-o-meter exploded when reading that last comment.

That Normalfags prefer PC is just an delusion, everyone have seen how ridicules the prices have become with ram etc. What Normalfags prefer is Mobile where they can do everything like social media, email, banking etc, they dont need to depend on PC for that anymore, and if they want to game they aint gonna pick an expensive PC thats for sure, they are gonna pick a console that is cheaper, and where there is no windows11 stupidity to deal with.

I disagree.
The FIFA and COD-fags at work have been slagging the PS5 off for the past few months and not playing it.
They were talking about the Steambox when it was released and have been asking PC gamers at work what it's all about.

Yeah, they tout the "isn't PC more complicated because of drivers?". They've had the Steamos explained to them as "you turn it on and it works, just like a PS5".

With the right marketing campaign, and sony continuing to be sony, the steambox can capture a lot of the market. If steambox drops same time as GTA6 (I think it will) then sony are done.
 
Another day, another ridiculous Sony patent. This time it’s for a controller that only uses touch inputs so you can customize the “buttons” however you want. You all love virtual touch screen buttons, right?

This is going to be a fucking disaster.

I have retroarch installed on my phone, and half the time my thumbs miss the arrows on the d-pad when touching the screen so my character winds up going in a different direction. It infuriates me to no end.

I can not, in any way/shape/form, see how a touch-controls D-Pad will be anything but infuriating to work with.
 
It's the same problem with touchscreens in cars. I don't really care about some stuff being, but you can't help but wonder what jeet designed modern cars to have heat, A/C, and the defroster controls mapped to touchscreens where you have to take your eyes off the road to make sure your windshield doesn't fog up on the highway...

GTA6 is going to be a timed console exclusive for a while, likely over a year, so Take-Two can get people to double dip.
And they switched anti-cheats and pulled Linux support for GTA Online in 2024 and haven't brought it back since, so anyone on a Steambox is not going to play GTA Online, which is the whole of GTA for a lot of retards.
GTA6 causing widespread Steam Machine adoption is not happening in this universe or the next.

I'm not so sure that they will have that luxury. They need day 1 sales, and as many as they can get to recoup the costs of the game, which are way north of $2 billion.

Not surprisingly with the growing processing power of phones and the wide availability of emulators, the sale of detachable Bluetooth and USB-C controllers has exploded.

I bought a Nacon MG-X for an older phone I had in a drawer doing nothing and now it is essentially a dedicated retro gaming handheld. Trying to play any of these games without physical buttons, D-pad or thumb sticks is a fool's errand. I don't know what kind of nonsense Sony is trying to pull off with this controller design.

Part of me hopes it’s just them patent trolling and wanting this in reserve in case anyone else thinks this is a good idea.
