In today's edition of "its okay when Sony does it"
View attachment 5240253

In the spirit of what we've seen the past year I will now summarize:
EVIL GIANT CORPORATION SONY is trying to BUY their way to success instead of competing FAIRLY. They are going to buy companies to gain exclusivity instead of making great games on their own. This is horrible guise and destroying the gayming market.
says who? wait you think there are people around retarded enough to believe sony buying a shitshop like bungie is on the same level as buying one of the biggest publishers on the market, when already owning another one? first of all because sony doesn't have the kind of warchest to make such a purchase in the first place?

lay off the /v/ bro...

I'm confused, are you aware this is a new story as in released yesterday? The bungie purchase was a while ago. I'm mainly making a joke about the dichotomy of Sony fanboys hypocrisy that Sony can do no wrong but if anybody else does it its bad. I'll be looking to see what purchase they attempt in the future with this scheme they are coming up with because I'm aware Sony has no money to make a purchase important enough to matter. I believe I've mentioned that before.

You are getting a lot of ancillary context that isn't there from I don't even know where.
Yes the image came from V because I don't spend all day searching video game news. My opinions don't. I hope you recover from your inability to read. It makes participating in a forum difficult when we aren't all above a 5th grade reading and comprehension level.

Back when Marissa Moira was here, he would have argued that Sony had more than enough money to equal Microsoft in their buying spree. I can't believe I almost miss that retard. ALMOST.

protip: trying to shit on sonyggers when they're right for once is even more retarded, congratulations. anyone with above 5th grade reading comprehension should understand that. but at least you're not dragging shitty /v/ opinions in here I guess...

Why does ResetEra love the playstation so much?
troons

Lol, who's even left? Are they gonna roll up to Toby Fox's house with millions of dollars and beg him to sell out?
The funny thing about "consolidation" crybabies is how unconsolidated the games industry is. Like there's still 10+ major publishers out there, to say nothing of "big" dev teams that self-publish their one game and then boatloads of smaller or indie publishers. And with Steam and console market-places its questionable how much "need" there even is for already successful names to get a publisher.

Publishers deal with the marketing logistics and costs. Marketing a game is more complex and expensive than making it.
