Sony hate thread

I have never heard of any other instance of male USB plugs melting. Especially not with expensive fightsticks. Not to mention, fightsticks have been around forever, and were well in use with older systems of all kinds.
wow don't go bringing in reality or anything here. We got people defending the honor of Snoy and Mark Cernys brilliant engineering.

This is the same USB port that wasnt even functional for game transfers for like this first 4 months of the ps5's release https://www.trustedreviews.com/news...will-unlock-a-highly-demanded-feature-4131884
after searching for this I'm noticing a trend in the searches

It appears to me to be a common problem and this has happened pre fightsticks. Its just become notable because it created problems at an event which gets public attention and breaks the typical wagon circling of Sony faggots refusing to admit their plastic box has a problem.

Its kind of like that liquid metal leaking issue that keeps bricking consoles occasionally but people pretend isn't real. I look forward to the new model releasing soon because if Sony makes any change to how the liquid metal enclosure is designed its probable they did a hardware refresh mainly to address that but iced it over with another perk, like how Nintendo released the Redbox switch to fix the paperclip bios access bug but increased the battery size so it became tantalizing to upgrade without admitting they were addressing a flaw in design.

Wanted to post that somehow this thread missed Sony's new TV series finally airing:

Apparently it is getting good reviews and seems to be a rare Sony W as it is more faithful to the games than the marketing and leaks let on. Also, Sweet Tooth seems to be perfectly cast as Samoa Joe and Will Arnett. He isn't the dark Black version, but they makes a good goofy, but threatening Sweet Tooth from 1/2. Biggest issue seems to be MCU humor being overplayed.

I really want to watch this now as the clips I have seen make it look good. I am surprised on how this turned out. It is already getting a season 2, but my hope is that it leads to Sony actually making a game for once.

Its been so bad a handful of Sony Pony's tried arguing on Twitter(X) that Baldurs Gate 3 was a PS5 exclusive.
But they were using Steam player charts to show it since its not out on ps5 yet, just delayed to Xbox.

Sony claims that the "impact of changes in the launch dates of a portion of first-party titles" has negatively affected its fiscal year 2023 forecast, meaning these games will now release either at some point in mid/late 2024 or early 2025.

That is the equivalent of pushing PS3 games all the way out to early 2011, or PS2 games all the way out to early 2005. You know, when those consoles were already over the hill, and already had discounted slim revisions. PS5 still feels like it's just barely getting started.

By late '05, I was already starting to get excited about Nintendo's mysterious new "Revolution" console. Here's a very old IGN page from September 2005 outlining it:

They never did release that green or silver Wii. I'll bet the green one was gonna be a Wii Fit bundle.

Remember when the Wii got Just Dance 2020 and the PS2 got FIFA 2014?

I do think console generations are getting longer as the technological jumps get less drastic, so delaying some games till next year or the year after doesn’t seem so weird really. The real cope is they’re acting like their AAA ~*cinematic experiences*~ aren’t all gonna be on PC by 2030 anyway.

They're going to probably drag this generation out at least a few more years, I can't see them even considering PS6 until, at earliest 2026. And I only see that happening as a response if Xbox Series Z (or whatever their next gen shit will be called) launches that early to capitalize on Sony's weakness (which they should, it'd be funny to see Sony struggling to get into the next generation with Nintendo and Microsoft).
