Doesn't that include bundles? Here you go, +3 copies of their shittiest games.

Edit: I thought I heard they count free PS+ games as "sales" too lol
not sure, hence the allegedly. however there are fifa bundles too, so it probably evens out...

PS4 and 5 having no browser is for the same reason, PS3 got cracked via the browser.
ps4 has a browser, as castrated as it is.
sony being paranoid about their walled garden is true tho (see: skyrim mods).

Where? I've looked for it when I use my PS4 once or twice a year but I can never find anything even remotely.

Edit: I may be dumb, apparently its just there and I never noticed it.

The Switch still has one for when you share to Twitter that if you clicked a link on Twitter would let you go to other sites
The Internet browser on Switch is also used for online game manuals, in similar fashion of the PS4, meaning they can't be reached in Airplane mode.

By comparison, game manuals for Playstation Vita games (as well as digital PSP and PS1 classics) were directly integrated into the local files and could be browsed anytime in the LiveArea menu. I kinda miss that feature alongside of the custom official themes (+new BGMs) from the old japanese Playstation Store.

It's pretty hidden, and the PS4 UI is just dogshit.
not really, it's treated like any other "app". it's just getting pushed off fast since the UI puts the last used stuff first for easier access. a big blue icon called WEB or INTERNET (can't remember) with a globe on it is pretty obvious.

ps3 required scrolling into a system sub menu from what I remember, since the main menu was fixed and game list changed instead.

I find it pretty funny that the only reason why the Xbox 360 was the most successful Microsoft console was because literally everyone had to buy at least two or three of 'em (myself included) because it was a defective console, which would explain why Microsoft never repeated that success again.
The early 360 was also the heyday of Halo, you just don't get exclusive system sellers like that anymore, at least ones that had the cultural impact and force Halo did at it's peak.

Why you got to remind me how great Halo was…. Fuck Microsoft and 343 for how much they blew it with Halo. Literally had a golden ticket and you threw it away. Halo 4 not being good was where I was hoping that Sony was going to actually push Killzone since it could’ve finally become a Halo killer….. does anyone remember the PS4 launch Killzone game? I don’t lol.

I just much preferred the way PS3 & PSP had things setup, it was very intuitive to me.

You just had to scroll to the network slot in the XMB, and scroll down to the browser. You can't make it easier than that on a console.

I loved that interface so much, I'd take it over Steam's big picture mode.

Big drop for Armored Core 6 for its second week in Japan. Final Fantasy 16 no longer found in the Top 30.

@BananaSplit² What game is that?
It's the (18+ rated) horror detective game that I've probably already talked in detail a while back on the Kiwi forums, where you have to solve mysteries tied to the occult and japanese urban legends. It's an ADV game (visual novel) with a lot of choice prompts (some of them requiring "Courage" points that are given in limited amount), interrogating suspects (with timed prompts) and use a blueboard to link the relationship of all the cast characters tied to the case(s).

The whole franchise is now available on Switch, with the recent ports of the PSP games released this July. But as @IDanceonTrannyGraves said above, it's japanese-only and NISA doesn't seem to touch anything VN from its parent company. Certainly for the best though considering that, in the first case of SH2, MC's co-worker is a former yankee with a dislike towards women (including MC, at least initially) and he doesn't trust them enough to drive a car for example. NISA would find that 'problematic' and try to change the character during the localization process.

It makes me think Nintendo and Netflix had some sort of falling out. There's absolutely no reason for Netflix to not be on Switch, especially considering it was on Wii U, Wii, and even 3DS.
It's honestly pretty refreshing. I mean Nintendo actually made the primary purpose of this VIDEO GAME console....to play VIDEO GAMES. Shocking I know.

The cross bar menu was one of the best console UI ever and I don't get why they ditched it.
The only problem was that the first thing you see when you start the PS3 is an ad for Singstar that you can't remove from the XMB.

IIRC only Europe had that. America didn't have that, it just launched into a "what's new" tab with assorted ads for PSN games. Or a "connect to PSN" thing if you weren't online.
