Other than RE7 and Nier automata, I wasn’t a big fan of 2017. Although I have to give Nintendo credit as they released actual games that year that people love. Still one of the few gaming companies that focus on gameplay first. (Along with fromsoftware) I suppose it’s all subjective though.

No, I don't think that's the case. NWH was a nostalgia callback for older fans. Spider-Verse is goyslop targeting mainly children, and basically its own subfranchise starring niggerman. They would have to royally screw up to start losing audiences for those movies.

It was a huge hit with the basketball americans but I guess you already kinda covered that by mentioning it was goyslop and made for children.
