The fact that the most glowing essay length signature singing its praises hasn't actually played it is just perfect.
You're telling me I may see a car version of this thanks to Sony?To put this in perspective for non-car guys, this is the equivalent of claiming that gun manufacturers use COD to test irl upcoming gun designs and apply player data to the irl products
Didn't they just release the PS5 bundle? If those are included, a good chunk is probably parents getting their Christmas shopping done now that Thanksgiving is over.Spider-Man 2 is hanging in there too well...
Troon Genocider 2023 already made a billion and sold 15 million copies on day 1 of it being released on PS4/XBONE. I wonder how much more money this fucker generated as it's supposedly the 3rd biggest Switch launch of the year about 6 days after the launch.
You guys wanna see some Sony fanboy delusion on full display? Check out what I stumbled across. For context here, the GT "Vision GT Program" was basically a thing where GT told manufacturers "go wild with concept car designs and we'll put them in game". It's been going on for some time now. It's NOT a testing program. Its pire marketing. Some of the VGT makers are watch brands and shoe companies. Only 2 of the VGTs have ever existed irl and both were marketing tie ins. This dude is delusional enough to think that manufacturers are using a game that doesn't simulate tire pressure or brake heat to make REAL LIFE CARS. This user has also claimed that the Upcoming Mustang GTD was "designed by Polyphony digital" because they put a fake fictional Mustang race car of a DIFFERENT GENERATION in the game, back in 2017. To top it off he's also claimed that the "data collection" listed in the time trials is used to tweak irl mass production cars, when it explicitly says the data collected is user Data about gameplay lol. The icing on this shit cake? In this entire comments section ONE PERSON is calling out this insanity. One.

This is why I went Xbox.
Thread, for your viewing digust.
It's slop but it's good enough slop to be popular with the niggercattle.Spider-Man 2 is hanging in there too well...
Sadly, Activision lost game rights to Marvel in the early-2010s. I guess we can't have nice thingsI wish we could get a remaster of the real Spider-Man 2.
hard to tell, the games below it came out about 7 years ago and cant be selling THAT many at this point and there are games that definitely flopped up there like MK1 and Assassins CreedSpider-Man 2 is hanging in there too well...
This is a huge issue with licensed games: even though a company makes a title, they don't own the overall IP behind it, so they can't do anything with the game after a few years, and are sometimes even forced to remove the game from sale.Sadly, Activision lost game rights to Marvel in the early-2010s. It's also an issue with licenses within the game. Such as licensing music or archival news footage or historical audio and video. So some old games cannot be released anymore because the music rights are gone. Or old racing games do not have the licenses for various car brands or sports promotions. There was just some big issues with Iracing losing rights to Indycar. This is a huge issue with licensed games: even though a company makes a title, they don't own the overall IP behind it, so they can't do anything with the game after a few years, and are sometimes even forced to remove the game from sale.
Switch version dropping just in time for Christmas really helped boost its numbers.
