Sony hate thread

Of all of the moments in Japanese history that involve the samurai, isn't it a coincidence that they choose that one moment where a black person is...
playing devils advocate with AC Shadows for a second-everyone asks why they don't use Hanzo Hattori etc. Considering the fact he was in AC Memories (as was Nobunaga's killer plus Ieyasu Tokugawa and a bunch of others)-I wouldn't be surprised if they chose Yasuke because they wanted someone new to Japan AND the assassin order at the height of Nobunaga's reign (considering he has a sword of Eden) who was not shown in any previous AC material, I also wouldn't be surprised if the Jesuits are Templars. IMO it is better to wait and see what they do rather then jump to conclusions

That's a fair post. However, I haven't played an AC slop game since 1, as they've been shite since, and including 1, but it was something different for a few hours.
They've picked a nigger because they want to niggerfy it Japan while keeping the nigger-loving DEI going.

Congrats on playing the worst AC game and damning the whole series for it.

The rest of the games don't consist of:
Run around an area for nonsense reasons
sneak around and kill target
parkour
collect flags or meet person of interest
parkour

kill person of interest
parkour
credits
?

In 2, the best one, there's interesting things to climb and look at and a fun conspiracy plot. But then if you think that sneaking around, killing targets, meeting persons of interest, etc. are bad then I dunno, maybe video games just aren't for you.

AC isn't for me. Luckily all video games are not sneaking around and meeting POI. RPGs, Card games, RTS's. That's the magic of vidya, there's different flavours slop for everyone!

Prince of Persia always did it more for me than AC, so I get it. I've yet to see an AC game in recent years that even comes close to measuring up to The Lost Crown.

Damn... the sales numbers are that low on PS5?
Stellar Blade's week 1 sales in Japan was 48,998 units. Meanwhile Rise of the Ronin and Dragon's Dogma 2 did 64,646 and 68,592 respectively. For its second week, Stellar Blade dropped to 18,113 units and lost its #1 spot to Nintendo's Dolphin game that sold 28,345 units.

Not sure about its performance in the West but it's Japanese sales weren't great to say the least.

If there was ever a time when Sony needed to knuckle down and not fuck up their supply chains to Japan, it was from 2020-2022. They didn't and now the future of high-end gaming in Japan is on the PC.

It wouldn't have been if they had actually marketed it
That's a big one, but it had a lot of other issues too. The small & expensive proprietary memory cards, the stupid name (should've been PSP2), lack of support, high price, lack of L2/R2 & L3/R3, etc all factored in too.

The unnecessary touchpad gimmick didn't help, and it should've connected to a TV (supposedly some interations of PSP had this functionality). Another thing is it should've been more heavily pushed as a companion piece for PS4. Cross-play/Cross-buy/Cross-saves was a good idea, so leaning into that plus the ability to stream PS4 games would've helped, some people didn't even know it did that. It also should've doubled as an optional controller for PS4 games, like a Wii U Gamepad but not shitty.

I think a 3rd revision and redoubling their efforts could've really salvaged Vita.
