If they're not a nignog they're some flavor of mystery meat or ethnicity that does not exist. The character designs are somehow worse than Hyenas.

It's about prestige and status. Despite the money involved, video games are still toys for children and movies are Important Art™.

People like Druckmann (or Kojima) are inveterate clout-chasers before anything else and desperately want to be considered serious artists.
 
The steam discussions on the games requiring PSN now is giving me a headache. Gamers are all niggercattle and they will eat this slop up and sony will win, its what always happens.

Sony throwing away good money just means its a day ending in Y. If I'm feeling generous - it was probably too far into dev when SSKTJL bombed as hard as it did, and they're trying to salvage something out of the investment.

Friendly reminder that all these big companies have learned that Gamers WILL tolerate this shit, because they're the biggest consoomers on the planet - see every failed Gamer Boycott. They'll bitch and moan, but they'll still fork over whatever the asking price is, regardless of how shit it is or whatever anti-customer shit gets shoveled in.

Sony Pictures is, like with other big movie/TV corpos, great at milking IPs such as Spiderman, Resident Evil, Charlie's Angels, Men in Black, Jumanji, etc. while also being great at having shitty mandated decisions, and Sony's own PlayStation division is just interactive movies and not games

When I was like fifteen I never imagined the console wars would just devolve into Sony and Microsoft in an arms race to see who can make the ugliest and fattest ugly bitches.

Shot in the dark guess? The current crop of Consoomer are the people who grew up in the heyday of the PS2, who didn’t realize the console war was retarded as they got older, and made being a Playstation Fan a core part of their personality.

Look, I have a PS5 - it was in hindsight a stupid decision, but I didn’t think they’d still be making PS4 titles this deep into the generation - but I’m not defending that thing beyond “I have space for that and not an actual PC”. At this point, I’m just trying to figure out how to rearrange shit to fit an actual desk and PC so I can finally give up on modern vidya.
