The ironic thing is, a few years ago I’d be joking how Sony Pictures was propped up by PlayStation - considering how the only Sony Pictures movies anyone give half a shit about are Spider Man, it wasn’t a complete impossibility - and that just pissed off the people in charge.

Considering how many of these “interactive movies” they call First Party Titles just feel like they were rejected movie pitches, it feels like its not a joke anymore.

Sony Pictures is, like with other big movie/TV corpos, great at milking IPs such as Spiderman, Resident Evil, Charlie's Angels, Men in Black, Jumanji, etc. while also being great at having shitty mandated decisions, and Sony's own PlayStation division is just interactive movies and not games
