Kojima is a legitimately great game designer. His obsession with movies is pathetic, and he needs a ruthless editor so badly it hurts, but he doesn't deserve the Druckmann comparison.
 
I have to ask this: From a scale of 1 (barely bothered) to 10 (still screams and punches walls) how much do you think Cuckmann was affected by the realization that his Abby could not be portrayed as she was in the game (ugly butch lesbian face and male athlete body) by the TV show in a realistic manner (without steroids or by a dude)? Did it crush him to go through a ton of women, some actually athetic too, only to find out that the people who were calling him out for his design were right? And, again, give a rating: 1 to 10.

I can see that at this point. I am really, really curious how the next generation of consoles is going to be handled by Sony, i never stop laughing if they do a Sega and drop out of the console game. I know it is very unlikely and it will probably be more funny to see what shit they have planned next.

I was hoping for something more like 3-5 so the trailer was pretty disapointing to me. Having a self insert main character seems like an odd choice, half the fun of the series is playing around with the different characters and seeing how they play. I've got to admit the sheer spectacle of all the things happening on screen at once was cool though, only problem being i'm not sure how long that :wow: factor will last for. As usual with modern games i'll be hoping for the best and expecting the worst.
 
It's deeply ironic that PS4 games from 2015 look considerably better than PS5 games from 2024 not because the PS4 is more powerful but because ideologically driven censorship makes all the character models look like dogshit.

Quiet and 2B were probably the last AAA female characters that weren't designed from the ground up to be repulsive.

Gentlemen, we are literally fresh out of controversy where the entire PC gaming community told Sony to EAT SHIT, and forced them to back down from requiring PSN in Helldivers 2. The PC community are not Sony Ponies. They don't have to do business with Sony at all. There are plenty of games on PC to play; nobody has to buy Sony's games, and there is no guarantee that Sony's games will sell. Plenty of games get ignored and not played on Steam for bullshit like what Sony is pulling.
 
In some way I find Druckmann to be much worse than Kojima or David Cage. The games made by likes of Kojima or Cage can be charming because they are goofy and also fun to play but Druckmann doesn't even have that. Druckmann is more like John Romero, also originally a programmer, overestimated himself too much from the success of his previous works and somehow got the reputation and greenlight to handle writing a game by himself. We all know what happened next. If the world was more saner and honest, Last of Us 2 also would have been panned widely by the critics too but we live in pussified corporate-controlled dystopian shitty hellscape, journos whore themselves out for anything made by corpo.

Don't know about that mate. XC3 got me feeling things about many pretty women. And Pokemon S/V, while buggy as hell, was a tomboy paradise (best paradise)! Milfs too.

The only reason they stopped that stupidity was that Helldivers 2 was already purchased in countries that had no PSN available and thus keeping course with their plan would mean taking away the game from the hands of people who spent money on it, opening them up to lawsuits in multple countries (taking away someting from someone who owns said thing legally is textbook theft). Notice how Ghost of Tsushima is not available in those countries lacking PSN.

Just because the industry at large decided that spending all the money they have (as well as some they do not) is the way forward, does not mean everyone else needs to follow. The guy at the poker table that goes all at the slightest provocation, even with a bad hand, is not a good business man.

That does not take away from the fact that the PC community en masse outright rebelled against Sony and told them to take their PSN requirement and shove it. Had nobody spoken up against the requirement, it would still be in place, as Sony would have figured they could get away with it. While the PSN requirement remains for Ghost of Tsushima and future titles, it has not been well received at all by the PC community, and this will have a knock on effect with sales.

Fairgame$ is Sony's Hyenas. Literally the best thing that can happen to that game and its devs is to be forgotten and never mentioned again while Concord becomes the new big laughing stock. but it still exists and sony spent hundreds of millions on it.
This is their Lawbreakers or Battleborn, coming out nearly a decade late to ride the wave of marvel capeshit and hero shooter slop, long after the hits, even long after the other embarrassing failures, this absolute shit probably had to pass through 50 grifter committees on wokeness and diversity, skyrocketing the budget
combined with the production of the story animations god knows how much they pissed away on it
apparently it's enough that they're even going to try and charge people to buy this obviously mtx laden garbage, it isnt even free to play because they're so delusional and desperate for money
and they still have 3-4 more games EXACTLY like Fairgame$ and Concord to announce, that they have spent hundreds of millions developing, because they think surely at least one of them will be a big win like Fortnite or APEX

Im on max hopium and pretending its gonna be like an empires game with the original character. Thats the main reason Im at all interested.

Even though I like the main series, like 8 was the good shit, I also like it when Cao Cao calls me as lovely as a blooming flower.

It's insane to think that people not even a few years ago used to lampoon and make fun of this sort of thing, taking it to the exact same extreme that is now being portrayed with a straight face. This is completely unsustainable.
