Sony hate thread

FIFA is a very lazy asset flip for example and Overwatch activelly made it's game worse, though one could argue it's not an asset flip as much as a 1.0001 version of the original.
FIFA is just a copy paste with updated rosters. It is beyond asset flip. Overwatch is a special case. If TOTK is BOTW plus plus then OW2 is OW minus minus.

On the other side like the Zelda and Elden Ring already mentioned. Mario Galaxy, I haven't played either (yes, I'm a poser) but Galaxy 2 is basically an asset flip of 1 and it's loved to pieces.
Most of what I remember about that conversation was that it was not space themed enough like the first.

Not going to lie, I like how they all look, better than the normal look. Only one I would ever think to buy would be the controller if they had hall effect sticks, but Sony would never do that.

But you know what would have been killer for their 30th, collection of their best games, stuff like GoW Greek Saga, or Ape Escape games including the Japan only ps2 ones. Stuff on the level of Rare Reply or Halo MCC or even what they used to do on the PS3 for collections in terms of value and history.

But that would actually take effort and acknowledge their icky non-woke past.

In other news:
Speaking on his Game Mess Mornings podcast, ITK snoopster Jeff Grubb said: “There’s some other remaster in the works that will be even less exciting – and it’s definitely not Bloodborne. State of Play, right? It’ll probably get announced there.”
He did attempt to contextualise why these remasters are happening, though: “The reason the teams want to do them is because they’re bringing in new employees all the time, and having them get accustomed to their process and engine is useful. So in between games, new staff are going to come in and work on these remasters. And that’s going to get them ready for the next real big project.”
I'm going to piss myself laughing if it's Dad of War.

God of War could be one but not sure I could see people saying that would be less exciting.

My guess if it is true, Days Gone, game that is already on PC and got a 60fps patch on PS5, but has less fan than both God of War and Horizon.

Or it is something like Knack, Medievil Remake, or The Order: 1886, something that doesn't really have a fan base. But for me, that still would be better than Horizon, because they aren't on PC yet, but could see how someone could say it is less exciting.

Still have my PS3, so I do not give a fuck. Hopefully they don't mess it up though for the people who's first experience with UC1 is with a remake.

I certainly hope they don't touch Uncharted 1. It was helmed by Amy Hennig, Neil Cuckmann's personal enemy, nu-Naughty Dog will butcher it just like how they butchered everything else.

Forced ugly, subversion, Sweet Baby inc, BlackRock, ESG, validate, forced ugly, subversion, Sony Movie Game, forced ugly...
