It's a pooner
Part 1 + PS4 =profit.Part 1 didn't flop while part 2 did, do the math jackass
Now you're thinking as a ps5 ownerPart 1 + PS4 =profit.
Part 2 -PS4 = flop
Am I doing this right?
Considering how much money Square Enix lost from all their expensive, timed exclusive flops, they will go multiplatform and should Sony complain and demand exclusivity, the only platform they will skip will be the PlayStation. They'd be smart to release Rebirth on PS4 alongside PC later, but Sony might want to block that.
It'd be amazing to see them go from ditching Nintendo for Sony and finally running back to Nintendo lol. It'd be like Forest Gump, getting your loose AIDS infested waifu crawling back after being used up.Considering how much money Square Enix lost from all their expensive, timed exclusive flops, they will go multiplatform and should Sony complain and demand exclusivity, the only platform they will skip will be the PlayStation.
Oh how the tables turn. Went from cartridges to discs... then back to cartridges. It'd be amazing to see them go from ditching Nintendo for Sony and finally running back to Nintendo lol. It'd be like Forest Gump, getting your loose AIDS infested waifu crawling back after being used up.
"Sorry, stick with PS5, our cartridges are just too expensive and don't hold enough data for Final Fantasy 7Oh how the tables turn. Went from cartridges to discs... then back to cartridges.
"We are in desperate need of a culling. I can't think of a single era in video games that was more lacklustre than the current one and i have been playing games all my life. I hardly even notice Sony as an entity this gen, they seem more irrelevant than Xbox these days and i never, ever cared for Microsoft's consoles, i can count on one hand how often i played on a 360.some of them won't have it and say it's the best gen Sony have had![]()
I agree, even with PC gaming, as you still deal with mega bullshit season-passes, intrusive cash-shops and sign-in account linking, Denuvo, invasive/root-kernel anticheat and the whole "you will own nothing" mantra with steam. We are in desperate need of a culling. What pisses me off most with current day PC gaming is the neverending deluge of chink slop in the indie sector. One motherfucker has an idea and their game sells gang busters, cue weeks of copycat releases. See Vampire Survivors as an example, these Bullet Hell roguelites are the bane of my existance, absolute subhuman genre. I wish Gabe would ban chink devs from releasing on Steam, get your fucking own platform to shit up. Early Access abuse (read: barebones alpha-at-best releases that either die in developement or take three years to hit 1.0 status) is another big one for me. Current gen is cursed.I agree, even with PC gaming, as you still deal with mega bullshit season-passes, intrusive cash-shops and sign-in account linking, Denuvo, invasive/root-kernel anticheat and the whole "you will own nothing" mantra with steam.
Ah these bodycam videos are a guilty pleasure of mine. Fucking amazing how stupid people can be.https://youtube.com/watch?v=7QBhEgfj6FM

#2 huh?Astro Bot ranked as the #2 best-selling game of the month, debuting as the 25th best-seller of 2024 year-to-date.
I want to know what the PS4 YTD revenue is, to see if it's higher than the PS5 or if the decline isn't as bad (-40%) as the PS5s#2 huh?

Meanwhile the only other games in that chart that released in September either:
The fact that Sony still hasn't stated the total unit sales like they usually do is very telling
- didn't have their digital sales counted
- NHL25 (the one sports game that doesn't print money)
- Compilation of old games from the 90s
- Remaster of Dead Rising that a lot of fans view as a downgrade
- EA Sports FC 25 beating Astrobot
Which most likely will not survive outside BasedMods.Funniest part is, they aren't even mods, but AI edits. The game isn't out yet on PC, imagine when the actual mods came out.
Sources are kinda sketchy but apparently Sony was talking to Bethesda about making Starfield a PS5 exclusive before they were purchased by Microsoft, which apparently was the main reason why they bought them in the first place so they could keep the game off PS5. Sony was apparently so desperate not to lose the game that they were still trying to make Starfield a timed exclusive even after the acquisition.
