What year are we in? You could buy any shitty pre-built with a core processor made in the last 10 years and a 1060 TI for half the price of a modern console, and you will have zero issues running nearly any new game. The supposed "minimum requirements" you see on steam or whatever are in fact way above what is actually minimally required. Ignorance and a lack of straightforward information is why PC isn't stealing a significant amount of the console market, not cost.
now that I think of it, your right, that is a big fucking issue

these are the requirements for Spider-Man 1 on PC for reference yet people are buying RTX 4090s, those fags are the biggest consoomers and should be shamed for misleading people

Sony sucks.

Every other from game on ps4 pro and ps5 had a 60fps patch.
Game sold 7 million not including merchandise sales. Come the fuck on. They gave Until Dawn, sold only 3 million, something but not Bloodborne lol. Then again, until dawn's remake is shit.

It's rumored (I don't have an immediate source, unfortunately) that they've lost the source code and/or assets for Bloodborne and can't update or port it without just recreating it from scratch (which is obviously well beyond what they're willing/able to do).

Hello Saars,

I'm new to the thread, so sorry if this was already discussed, but in the 5th year of PS5 I'm wondering if it is the good time to upgrade my PS4?

I'm wondering what kind of amazing games awaits me now. There should already be a significant backlog, no? :)

Concord and Dustborn are more than worth the hassle. You'll have to get Concord off E-bay due to absurd demand for it.

Soyny might be selling off its movie division sometime in the future, any thoughts?

I mean, I’ve joked for years that Spiderman might be the only really profitable Movie Series they have, but that’s solely off of me not immediately knowing anything else they have off the top of my head. It’s not entirely surprising.

“But where will they get rejected movie scripts to turn into Video Games (read - Interactive Movies)?” Fuck if I know, and fuck if I care. By the time they shit anything out we’re probably going yo be on the PS6, considering how long Dev times are…

No Bloodborne acknowledgement. I don't understand sometimes. "It's about persistence" really was just a one-off joke probably done by a PR wageslave who's probably more in-touch with audiences than Sony higherups. Imagine being Somy right now. I can't imagine having such fucking tightness about IPs. It's a graveyard of once good games. Sony is a lot like Cartoon Network and Adult Swim.

They will niggerfy all the pretty women.
It's not even that, you'd think from a business standpoint they see the critical acclaim and might go "hmm, maybe we should patch it (outsource a patch to fromsoftware, maybe a pc port too) to get more sales from this PS4 IP".

I have no wish here. It's just business retardation.

Here's a picture of Sony.

Bloodborne is just 0.1% of what they've abandoned. There are better IPs they had and they've rendered them to just... funko pops. The background. Nothing but references maybe in astrobot. How did Sony fall this hard? We need a What Happened style series for publishers.
