Quick correction for that: Rift Apart is a sequel to the 2013 Future title; Into the Nexus. With that, Insomanic Games is now the Spider-Man, Marvel studio for Sony. No Resistance, no Sunset Overdrive, Ratchet & Clank now in the backburner. What a shame since their latest Spider-Man 2 title was just "good." Nothing groundbreaking.

Yeah, I meant to say a spiritual sequel to the movie tie-in reboot, but was distracted. I also strongly disagree with spidernigger being good.
 
Also don’t know if I’m late or not, but don’t buy the Armored Core 1 on ps store (or if you are going to buy it, just get AC1 and not Project phantasma or Master of the Arena) there’s no way to transfer your saved game from the first game to the others, which you could originally on the PSX. I actually remember when I was playing with my old ps3 with backwards compatibility (ps1) you could create a memory card to used for ps1 games. I don’t if it was possible to save transfer but I know for a fact you’re better off just setting up duck station.

The Ratchet games haven't been good since the PS2 era for me. They lost all of their charm, snark and humor. They don't even poke fun at business CEO's or vapid, shallow business practices they like they used to or pop-culture sensations like what their jabs at Britney Spears. No more harmless, funny easter eggs like jumping to make an alien woman's tits bigger. So really Insomniac has nothing for me to get excited over and abandoning franchises for whats trendy has been their MO since Spyro. I tried the first of their Spidey games and just wasn't into it. I would rather play Web of Shadows again for its faults, at least that embraces the comicbooky nature and has better combat.

Supposedly it's newspeak for live service game, but it doesn't seem to be a common term and most search results for it are just people asking WTF it means after seeing it in this press release.

A great example of this I recently encountered is with Borderlands. I installed Borderlands two and every single DLC available for the game, it only required 12 gigabytes. Guess how many gigabytes Borderlands 3 and all of its DLC required to download? Over 160. And the former has significantly more content than the latter. They literally just don't attempt to optimize or compress file sizes on games anymore.

The description makes me think it will be like Crash Team Rumble. It would fit right in with Fairgames as part of Sony's "we plagiarized a live service game that was already loathed and dead on arrival" genre.

I stand fully corrected. If they're retarded enough to go "LET'S DO ANOTHER CONCORD!" they are most assuredly retarded enough to do yet another console price hike.
