Maybe, but the Marvel Rivals announcement is real. I still wouldn't dismiss the rumor out of hand, after the Monster Hunter: Wilds debacle Capcom might seriously be considering releasing their titles on last gen consoles.

And yes, I am aware that Capcom blaming the PS5 is likely them shifting blame.

Sony is devolving right before our eyes.

I remember trying the (now discontinued) PS4 version of The First Descendant. By the time I would finish loading into a dungeon, it would be halfway finished by the other players. It wasn't good for anything other than logging in for daily bonuses, and checking on research items.
 
We are told that the PS5 is the best, most financially excellent generation ever. The PS5 has outsold PS4 (it hasn't) and the PS5 is flying off of the shelves.

In fact, the ps5 is selling so well, with so many players enjoy the best Sony generation ever, that Sony are releasing a modern game on a 12 year old system that was discontinued 4 years ago.

But remember, the revenue generated from the PS4 is DEFINITELY NOT counted in the PS5 financials. Sony pinky-promises for realz, super cereal.

At the rate things are going for them, Sony may as well give up making PS5s entirely and restart PS4 manufacturing going all in on trying to squeeze that lemon for all it's worth, which is to say the absolute husk of the modern playstation brand because all the games that could have given people reason to buy it arn't exclusive to it anymore (if they even were with the ps4 crossgen) and doesn't even have anything good to offer now in term of it's hardware or the OS that's more limited than the PS4's.

Their handheld will PS6 will have the power of a PS4PRO.
The Sony fans laugh at Nintendo and Rog Ally Xbox but PS6 handheld won't be much more powerful, despite the spec leak.

If Sony release a handheld where the games can be ported to PS4 and PS5, they will do it, without a doubt.

According to one of the streamers that was recently visiting the devs, they said the devs have planned for it to run at 30 FPS and 1080p. It's probably going to turn into an IED when both teams' Doctor Strange open a portal in the same area.
