I didn't say it was right, just that it'll be how AI is viewed in 5 years. There's already a whole lot of "who gives a shit?" sentiment now. Apart from it attracting some attention in the political and celebrity realms because of fakes posing as real, people genuinely don't care much. Once the gimmick isn't so fresh anymore (it's already fading), people will be distracted by the next shiny tech thing.

Until people stop buying slop, they're not going to care if it includes AI slop.

In terms of actually putting a stop to AI generators ripping off other people's work, that's gonna take some litigation. Good luck to whatever "creatives" take on that beast.

This is pure cope by a Sony shill. Sony have said they are focusing on MAU and no other KPI to measure the success of Playstation. Considering the PS4 is getting shut down next year, Sony are going to take a kicking in a drop of MAU that they can count, because 50% of all PSN users are still on PS4 and they're not going to upgrade even if Sony tries to force them to.

Jez cordon leaked that PC games will be released day and date in the future, then 24 hours later backtracked saying the leaked picture showing Sony Crossplay was from an old build years ago. Now we have this article.

OTOH it is believable that Sony will no longer port games to PC because they have no games to port. I'll be shocked if GoY isn't ported to PC by Christmas.

Considering Sony threw some of their former exclusives on to Bamco to make ports for Switch and other platforms, Sony doesn't care about Gravity Rush, Bloodborne, or any other non-walking simulator IPs.
 
Ape Escape, LocoRoco, Vib Ribbon, Wipeout, Motorstorm, Stardust, Killzone… I don’t even like Sony and I can think of plenty of franchises that would be worth bringing back.

Clair is fine, it's a good game, but I also don't get the ridiculous levels of hype around it, and some of the manufactured narratives get a bit annoying. Will probably win.

DS2 is there because kojimbo is dorito's boyfriend.

DK surprised me in just how fantastic it was, and without a second nintendo title to split the vote, there's at least a chance.

Hades 2 is the woke gem exception that proves the woke slop rule. However, since this is the 1.0 release of an early access game from last year, doesn't feel like it fits.

Silksong is great, and definitely one of the more deserving ones on there, but I can't help but feel it's on there for cynical memes rather than for the actually good qualities of the game. This and Hades 2 as the indie darlings will likely spoil a lot of each other's votes.

I have no clue what KCD2 is doing there, I don't even remember if it came out this year, all I remember about it is the weird pro-pederasty rant Vavra went on as soon as the ESG bux hit his account.
 
What, Deltarune isn’t even nominated? Though I don’t know if it would qualify because of its unusual release schedule.
 
The biggest surprise is that Bananza is there. Then again it feels like the only game Dorito Pope genuinely praised for being a great game.

There are a lot of autists that want to preserve all games, including the shit. To be fair, it'll be useful for the inevitable YouTubers that want to see where it all went wrong and write a retrospective on it. Sony taking it down is hilarious, for a company that thought that game would be the future of PS.
