Charisma is invisible normally. Like gravity, you have to observe other objects to see it. He persuaded a company that he is a good writer and bent their perception around him. Being good at persuading others and preventing them from questioning you is a common effect of high charisma. Look at Druckman, he made Sony believe he was a genius to the point they fired everyone who disagreed with his vision. That is charisma.

Not really. He just launched his coup at the right moment. The execs had drunk the woke Kool-Aid and he pounced. He persuaded them that he will make everything more woke just when they wanted more woke and they gave him permission to do as he pleases. He knew what they wanted because he wanted it too and made them believe he was the man to do it.

It would be so funny if Sony pulls down thier PC releases minus Helldivers II, that'd probably be a pretty bad admition that they only existed to make up the Concord/Marathon/Horizon MMO/other dead live services dollars.

But to be more realistic, this probably has more to do with them running away from the PC market for future releases or having no (heh) games that even made use of the feature.

And in a decade they will quietly stop maintaining it and move back to Steam like everyone else. Because apart from GOG everyone else never understood why they failed with their own Launchers. It's the same song and dance which can be seen live with the Epic games store.

I don't know why they would. The idea of buying a console for exclusives is long dead. People buy consoles for ease of use, not the exclusive games themselves now. The PC market is pretty segregated anyway. It's within sony's interest to port their games to PC, because it's not like PC users are going to pay almost 1000 for a console just to play 1-2 games.

Oh absolutely. They never reduce prices after announcing pricing. No hardware vendor ever does.

I still remember when hard drive manufacturing plants got hit in some big floods and hard drive prices doubled overnight because of it. Yet years later, after all that capacity came back, prices never went back to pre-flood levels.
